I remember reading a bunch of military intelligence history books decades ago, a lot of this stuff is old as the hills and still works.

Yeesh. How miserable having to be the honey trap for a homo like this Twitter executive. That's dedication to the craft right there.

The thing is a Twitter account is considered inactive only after six months of inactivity.

What do they consider inactive? No tweets, no logins?

The end of all social media, and in many ways, the Internet, would be the best thing that could happen for most of humanity. It is really sad to see that today, when humans have instant access to virtually unlimited information and knowledge, humanity seems to be more vapid, stupid, and ignorant than ever.

But advertizers are paying as though there were 3 people & you are only one. Now multiply that by a few million.

But those companies are also vulnerable and that is being exposed via twitter revelations & revaluations.

Is it possible Musk went through a charade to buy the company as a way to expose how fraudulent they really are and destroy Twitter?

Of course he did. That is the nature of business.

You make an offer “subject to.” You have done enough of your own research to know your “subject to” can reduce the price or give you an out.

Basis business negotiation.

I don’t think so. I think his intention is just what it appears to be, exposing all the fakery about Twitter in order to drive the price down to a very low level. All of which is perfectly legal.

He’s gambling that he can get a bargain basement price without destroying the company. But he won’t lose any sleep over not being able to consummate the sale. Injecting the variable of Project Veritas was out of his control I’m sure.

There is so much corrupt and probably illegal about Twitter’s operation that Musk may have inadvertently started a snowball down the hill.

Not active = no login

So all those bot accounts have to have someone log in on a regular basis?

It would seem so if they’re more than 6 months old.

Maybe an AI bot could log in to all those accounts...

Hey, Alexa. Login to Twitter.

Musk has them in some pretty dire straits. He will make a second lowball offer based on the inflated bot/zombie accounts being a much higher percentage than they are admitting. They can say no but then the advertisers and their investors are going to come with lawsuits and the SEC will have no choice now but to launch an aggressive external audit and punish them if - as we all suspect - the percentage was significantly higher than 5%.

“Liberals” do not like free speech.
I have been to Instagram sites where they insert propaganda from the democrats into the users site and I bet without permission. If you disagree with it then you are banned.

Newspapers and magazines owners have been making up subscribers in order to charge more to advertisers forever.

The social media companies do so too and have cheated advertisers and stock owners. Major fraud.

Google owns Youtube and Instagram and was behind the massive voter fraud in favor of Biden.

The Twitter ceo quit recently and took his billions elsewhere and I bet knowing what was going to happen when the fraud was revealed.

People who make a living with Youtube accounts have complained for years of real subscribers disappearing and with it the money they make.

You know that Google which owns Youtube knows which are fake accounts.
They hide real subscribers as well and keep the money from the advertisers.
Look at the big increase of Twitter users to conservative users that magically appeared once Elon Musk announced he was buying the company.

Yes, because human nature doesn't change.
