The Texas grandmother who made the perfect pumpkin pie might still be baking. The Red Sox-loving husband who ran marathons before COVID might still be cheering at Fenway Park.
For many Americans, imagining what might have been will be painful. But especially now, at the milestone of 1 million deaths in the United States, the nations that did a better job of keeping people alive show what Americans could have done differently and what might still need to change.
Many places provide insight: Japan, Kenya, Norway. But Australia offers perhaps the sharpest comparisons with the American experience. Both countries are English-speaking democracies with similar demographic profiles. In Australia and in the United States, the median age is 38. Roughly 86% of Australians live in urban areas, compared with 83% of Americans.
Yet Australia’s COVID death rate sits at one-tenth of America’s, putting the nation of 25 million people (with around 7,500 deaths) near the top of global rankings in the protection of life.
Australia’s location in the distant Pacific is often cited as the cause for its relative COVID success. That, however, does not fully explain the difference in outcomes between the two countries, since Australia has long been, like the United States, highly connected to the world through trade, tourism and immigration. In 2019, 9.5 million international tourists came to Australia.
So what went right in Australia and wrong in the United States?
For the standard slideshow presentation, it looks obvious: Australia restricted travel and personal interaction until vaccinations were widely available, then maximized vaccine uptake, prioritizing people who were most vulnerable before gradually opening up the country again.

LOL! In the USA, unlike in Australia... there was a need for an exaggerated(invented) crisis that would help fuel the plans of the Democratic party to put in place a scheme of fraud and corruption that would subvert the election process and overthrow Trumps chance for a second term.
Along came COVID-19 and its perfect cover for the needed EMERGENCY changes that would corrupt the elections in 7-9 states by allowing emergency changes in election vetting and open the floodgates for no-verification mail-in ballots and no chain-of-custody protocol in the practice of ballot harvesting and ballot drop-box collections. COVID-19 was exploited for facilitating election fraud; for pushing a campaign of fear-mongering, propaganda, disinformation and lies... and created and incentive to cook the books/stats in order to inflate the cause of death in American hospitals and clinics. A money making swindle that used COVID as the grift/cover... and the sick, dying and dead people as the currency to profit off of.
Any death would be labeled a COVID death, doesn’t matter. Just toe-tag the body with a positive COVID test and collect the Federal governments bounty of between 35-75 grand per COVID death for some easy cash flow into every heath care facility and into the pockets of drug, mask and germ-lotion companies. Indeed, happy boom-days for stocks-holders and cash flow into the coffers/pockets of the well connected and con-men who were hyping it up for the politicians, drug companies and hospital administrators... while the politicians and their friends invested their money in company stock!
Yes, it will be windfall in profits and easy cash!
But there must be a body-count in hospitalization and deaths to justify the spending, and call for a prolonged emergency crisis that the democrats and RINO’s needed, not only to boot Trump out in 2020, but to keep the scam going until 2022 midterms!
The raw data was manipulated and cooked to produce a death rate between 8-10 times that of other countries that had some semblance of honest reporting. Australia being one of them.
That’s pretty much how Australia had 1/10th the death-rate compared to the USA. The USA death rate was artificially inflated because of incentives to report COVID deaths, hospitalizations and keeping the fear mongering going as long as possible and it was all provoked and exaggerated by blue-states and governors. They all gathered together in the sandbox of malfeasance and graft that feeds their lust for power, money, control and pompous asses.
Then, come to find out 2 years later, that the "tests" they were using for Rona could not, in reality, differentiate between Covid, flu, or the common cold, again=problem with the numbers.
And this does not include hospitals paid hundreds of thousands of dollars for Covid deaths. This created cases where persons who died in motorcycle accidents were testing positive for Rona, and listed as having died from it, rather than from injuries from the wreck=once again problem with the numbers.
And IMO all of this and more needs to be addressed with Nuremburg type trials.
It is also revealing how much threats and censorship have occured whenever anything other than the Big Pharma/Government narrative comes out. Seems like they are hiding something.

Well, the American death toll might have been grossly inflated due to crediting C/iviD-19 for the deaths that were caused by other coexisting maladies, not the virus.
The other bottom line is that we never “save lives”.

In the U.S., successful theraputics such as hydroxychloriquin and ivermectin were denied to the public. Elderly covid patients were moved back into nursing homes when they were still contagious. The U.S. government murdered most of the Americans who died of covid. We don’t have any information on these practices in Australia, only that they were merciless authoritarians.
The masks and the lockdowns have seriously caused a rash of mental illness , especially among the young. Who knows how many it suicides it caused or made them turn to drug use , but Fentanyl posioning is now the number one killer for the young. The worst effect , by far , is the artificially induced fear made it possible to steal enough votes to counter a landslide election. Having the enemies choice of leader in the White House is causing who knows how many more dead because of the poverty and tyranny that is bringing us.
