A mass shooting is being reported out of Buffalo at the Tops [supermarket] at 1275 Jefferson Ave, Buffalo, NY. According to unverified reports, a shooter was taken out by gunfire. However, police say they have one person in custody. There are reports that “bodies [are] everywhere.” At least nine individuals have been reported shot, more than five of them in the head. At least one fatality has been reported.
AMEN to that!

I’m also very disturbed by some of the things people have been posting on here. I know they have the right to do it and they should be able to put it up. That’s fine.
But they’ve silenced a lot of other people because they immediately attack, and I used to come to this site to discuss and not to attack or be attacked. Especially by nasty people who are attacking those who disagree with their ugly, provocative comments about others.
I am a monthly donor but I’m rethinking it now. I don’t think JR supports this bizarre racist stuff, but there are too many folks here who do.

I just think your assertion above, aside from sounding quite arrogant, reflects badly on this site and the vast vast majority of its members.

We’ve let this get too much established among us. There is no defending it.
Isolating teenagers wasn’t a good move. If you’re dealing with somebody who may be a little nutty to begin with, letting them fester alone - well, not alone, because they’re aided by other isolated on-line nutcases - is practically a recipe for producing a raving, violent nutcase.
But then again, none of this Covid theater was a good move, and none of it had a good ending for anybody.
