Notification wouldn’t hurt LOL though I’ll also try to remember to check his channel when hurricane season cranks up later. I was surprised he was inland trying to chase storms since hurricanes seem to be his main thing.

Yep, if I check on the guys and they aren’t close to any action, I check back later. :-)

Howdy, E.G.C. ((HUGZ))

Did you and Gizmo have another toasty day for your romp? It looked like it was mighty warm Tuesday based on your pics. Gizmo was panting hard.

Our ISP called yesterday to tell me that they were doing server maintenance this morning. When I woke up, I noticed the "DNS Client Servers" messages in the event viewer on my standby computer. Hopefully that's the only "momentary service interruption" we'll have this morning. We'll see what happens.

But, yes it was a good day yesterday. We had supper from Applebee's

And yes, it was a little bit toasty but not as bad as the last several days. We did have fun at Wichita Ridge, especially Gizmo.

Wow, your ISP calls to let you know they’re going to do maintenance. Must be nice. We get no warnings. Just BLIP and no internet for a while.

Glad to hear you’re getting a break from the heat. Even a little one is better than none. But it is that time of year and we might as well get used to roasting, huh? LOL

Patton was a character. And he was hard on his soldiers. But he needed them to be prepared for what lied ahead and had to be tough.

What a time it must have been a round the state during the years of the Maneuvers. The more I learn about it, the more fascinating it is. Hard to believe a lot of it went on right here in Podunk Nowhere.

He used this time before hurricane season to test his latest equipment [that you saw in the back of the truck]. I guess it worked, even though I don’t think they intercepted anything. Doing this gives him an advantage when the actual season rolls around.

Guess I’d better go. My show just ended and my eyes are burning bad. See ya Saturday! Have fun at the museum. Enjoyed the pictures you posted.

Indeed, it was great. I was very surprised that he remembered that I lived out here. He even got to see a good ol’ west Texas sandstorm, which made them all feel like they were on Mars they said.

Tippy can stay alone in the house without a crate now, and is house-trained.

She LOVES the porch, but prefers L-O-N-G walks.

Aren't our troops the BEST?

Hope all y'all have a Thank-A-Troop Thursday!
...and nice weather to go with it.
The heat is cranking up here.
((((hugs))))
