Most Mexicans understand the history of The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo far more than most Americans do. After all, the Mexicans were basically forced to give up half their country to a more powerful neighbor, who where at the time were occupying Mexico City as well as California, New Mexico, Arizona, Nevada, Utah, and portions of Colorado and Wyoming, which were part of Mexico at the time.
Forcing another country to give up their lands at gunpoint is not what I'd call civilized or reasonable.

The Black sea entrance is controlled by Turkey. Plus Romania and Bulgaria are black sea countries that are also part of NATO. The azov is a part of the black sea and the Caspian is a lake, which also has Iran at the other side.
The Baltic sea has Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Poland plus the Baltica. Russia does not control it.
The white sea is a froze part of the arctic sea and norway and japan and canada have a little to say about it

I 100% supported the invasion of Afghanistan. And so did nearly all of the world except Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and the UAE. It freed up millions of Afghans. It was good. The USA lost the peace.

In iraq, the people got touchy about the USA invading it.
In Ukraine the people get touchy about Russian invasions.
