The headquarters is allegedly located in rented space in St Petersburg’s Arsenal Machine-building Factory, a company that manufactures military equipment and technology.
The study details how the Russian president’s regime is trying to manipulate public opinion on social media, as well as in the comments sections of major media outlets.
Targets include the social media accounts of Boris Johnson, the British prime minister; the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz; and the EU foreign policy chief, Josep Borrell.
The troll farm is said to recruit and hire salaried workers openly, justifying the work as “patriotic activity” in support of the “special military operation” in Ukraine.

They clearly had easy penetration of hotmail, yahoo, google, etc...
It turned out our IBM Exec’s Russian security team had been eliminated in an bush, and he had actually been taken and held in prison about 300 miles from Moscow, where he had been roughly interrogated, and local FSB literally through him on a boxcar (in February) headed back to Moscow, after roughly 6 weeks, and after a money deal was worked out with the Russian authorities.
It was a disaster for IBM, and apparently a rude joke from certain people in the FSB.
He survived, but very scary for his family, as well as a reality check for IBM.

It’s been quite some time, but communicated years ago to several on FR, the first time I saw FreeRepublic was on an FSB monitor near Ria Novosti in 1997.

I’ve traveled the Ukaine and I have traveled in Russia. I know what Ukraine is and what a crime the Russian invasion is. My family and friends in the Donbas and across the Ukraine are a great source of information.

Lots of those Russian-speakers in Kharkov are fighting hard against Russians. It is sort of like English-speaker Andrew Jackson worked hard to whip the Hades out of the English-speaking English.
In Kherson, the Russians are fast tracking another of their fake referendums. They have already changed the currency, the teaching curriculum, the teachers, and “disappeared” many counter-Putin personalities. We really should demand that Kaliningrad get its referendum to become Konigsberg again.
