I worked in the SF Bay Area for a little over a year a few years ago. They *all* talked like that. It sounded so affected. That and the overuse and misuse of the word “literally.”
I was so glad to come home where you might even get your ass kicked for talking like that.
Because it is a secured place. Prosecution if you photograph it
Nsh, anyone who supports Putin (as opposed to saying “none of our business “)
There is a difference, “jan sobieski”
Nice one Ivan.
How is it going in Poland? Do you still have gas and food in stores? How is the job market with all the newcomers?
How often do Democratically elected Presidents get deposed by armed militias? Do you think this alienates voters?
Yanukovych was big deposed by armed militias.
What rot are you spouting?
Yanukovych set out the militias to fire on protestors. He then was impeached.
And who replaced Yanukovych? Poroshenko.
Poroshenko was voted out in 2019 and lost to Zelensky. Zelensky was considered pro Russian, he is a native Russian speaker.
So your story is false
Do you know what a Revolution is? What was the Euromaiden Revolution?
Video of Ukrainian military arresting Ukrainians who have other opinions
It was a wave of demonstrations and civil unrest in Ukraine, which began on 21 November 2013 with large protests in Maidan Nezalezhnosti (Independence Square) in Kyiv. The protests were sparked by the Ukrainian government’s sudden decision not to sign the European Union–Ukraine Association Agreement, instead choosing closer ties to Russia and the Eurasian Economic Union. Ukraine’s parliament had overwhelmingly approved of finalizing the Agreement with the EU, while Russia had put pressure on Ukraine to reject it
Yanukovych was not deposed by armed militias as you falsely state
“through” = threw
Sadly, upspeak is more part of one of those major departures from tradition, like from Middle to contemporary & US English, usually tied to foreign meddling. This is not just a slang word or phrase, but a derailing of fundamental intonation and inflection of the language. This, combined with infantile "verbing" which yuccies and other degenerates this is so cool, is on the fast track to faggotizing the English language. No amount of comparisons to less extensive trends will save it.
“Accusing a 2012 member of being a Putineer is downright idiotic.”
I wonder if it would be possible for an unscrupulous group to take over old unused accounts.
Like the movie “The Thing”. You might never know who has been absorbed into the enemy.
100% possible. Sarah Palin leaving the hockey star and moving into my basement is 100% possible as well and infinitely more likely.
Not really. At least the Russian’s have a believable motivation.
I’d rather believe some Russian hacker took over an old abandoned Freeper account (where someone used ‘qwerty’ as a password) than believe anyone who post’s on this forum actually believes “Kiev was a feint”.
