Diesel fuel, which is also essential to farmers is also very expensive. Fertilizer and fuel are either unavailable or beyond the means of most of the world’s farmers.

Not necessarily. With fertilizer prices so high, many will grow soybeans which takes a lot less fertilizer. So between that and Biden allowing E15 to be used all summer, corn shortage and corn is in everything except for Real Food like veggies, fruits and meats. Corn is used to fatten cattle and feed chickens and pigs however and fruits and veggies are grown with that same fertilizer that has increased in price so corn affects the price of all foods in the end.
It seems as if the President and his administration are doing everything possible to exacerbate the impending food shortage instead of solving it.
