Arkansas Governor Asa Hutchinson on Sunday became the latest Republican to publicly toy with the idea of running for president in 2024 -- potentially setting up a fierce battle within the GOP if Donald Trump attempts another White House bid.
'I’m not ruling it out. That’s something that is a consideration, an option,' Hutchinson told Fox News of a possible presidential campaign.
'I’m certainly not ruling it out, because this is too critical a time for our nation and it’s a defining moment and I want to not only engage the debate now but keep my options open down the road.'
Hutchinson, who chairs the National Governor's Association, will be leaving Little Rock at the end of this year after serving two terms leading the southern state.

GOP establishment loser!
.................................................
It’s RINOs like her that motivate President Trump to lead the GOP in a different direction, one in which the GOP actually LISTENS to its constituency and seeks the political destruction of every anti-American Democrat.
Are these idiots so delusional that they don’t even know how despised they are by real conservative republicans? As far as I am concerned there are only two options for 2024, Trump or DeSantis. Not sure yet which I will vote for in the Primary but it will be one of them and not some back stabbing RINO!
Southern kapo
“And just like Lizard Cheney and Murky Murkowski, Asa “Ass Hat” Hutchinson will have a place at the table on the Sunday morning talk shows as the “republican.” That’s a gig that pays big bucks for a flap-your-jaws session a couple of hours once a week.”
lOOOOOOOOOL!!!!!!
I guess Asa figures there’s a few Trump hating RINOs out there who he can relieve some of the cash from they obviously don’t need.
Hutchinson v Biden.... jar of mayonnaise v. lump of stool in a diaper... great... just f’ing great.
Asa and Benedict Pence?
He has absolutely no support whatsoever. The Arkansas legislature overrode his vetoes several times when he tried to wuss out.
Not a direction that any thinking person wants to go.
People in Arkansas are very excited about her running.
