What part of the 14th amendment could they possibly be referring to?
“All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws.”
The charges given in that second sentence are about state laws that have nothing whatsoever to do with individuals making laws.
It’s not just “liberals”, it’s also Assistant Democrats.

Heck, they should just go ahead and pass a Bill of Attainder and declare through legislation that whatever this person did that first week in January qualifies as “insurrection” and she will no longer be allowed to seek political office.
