This latest decision will only make it worse – after all, the people who refuse vaccines are also more likely to take a series of other risks, including refusing to mask up and going to large, crowded events.

You gosh darn risk takers.

What part of “overstepped their authority” did they miss?

(Oh... all of it).

I’m also appalled that masks are no longer required...

Well, Karen, like I always say, “Opinions vary. Thanks soooo much for sharing yours.” 🤣

It was the right decision - a district judge cannot create laws for the entire country, let alone her district.

Well, the disaster that is CNN is apparently going on the premise that they know disasters well.

The funny thing is, if you believe in the virus, you’ve already got your shot. And you can certainly continue to wear your silly mask. So now what are you worried about?

“a series of other risks”, eh?

Did this author write articles blasting Pelosi and other prominent Dems for telling people to “come on out” to large crowds? Blasting Biden for calling Trump xenophobic for putting in restrictions on travel? Blasting Dem governors for putting COVID patients in nursing homes?

And have masks been shown to have any effect? No...not unless you are actively coughing or sneezing and it stops the spew of droplets. That’s it. Normal breathing - no. (I actually saw a woman the other day pull her mask down to cough)

And if the behavior is so risky approaching 3 years they’ve likely already been infected and recovered at least once if not more. Getting vaccines for the 2019 version of the virus for the current strains has very little impact on actual transmission as has already been stated.

This article is bull crap.

There is no scienc ewhich supports that masks will reduce or prevent infection with Covid 19, Look all over the CDC site and you will see NO science supporting mask mandates. Au contraire, it increaes the levels of CO2 in ones blood and this inhibits development in children.

Its all about social control.

We have had flue seasons where people had pretty severe infections year after year in the past going back over 20 years. WHERE WERE THE MASK MANDATES?

The Judges decision was a reall well written opinion, over 20 pages. The mower to mandate health reegimes lies withthe states, not the federal government. And thats it , period.

Exhibit 999 for why CNN is going under.

An interesting dilemma for Biden. On the one hand this ruling should be overturned on appeal without too much trouble. On the other hand they are appealing an order striking down an increasing unpopular government mandate. I suspect that they’ll let the CDC end the mask mandate in the near future while the appeal is ongoing and hope it’s a win/win.

The news media has always been disproportionately left wing, but when did it suddenly fill up with 20-30 something know-nothing activist twits?

Once again the media doesn’t care to actually read the opinion. It does not say that the CDC lacks authority. It says the CDC lacks the authority to ignore the APA and avoid notice and comment rule making.

It doesn’t say you CAN’T wear a mask it says you DON’T HAVE TO wear one.....if those precious shots are sooooo effective what’s there to worry about?

It’s all about control and compliance anyway and these types of reactions are proof of that.

"...after all, the people who refuse vaccines are also more likely to take a series of other risks..."

Notice how the Dims never connect the dots between the people who engage in risky sex being more liable to engage in risky domestic abuse. Or people who get away with stealing are more liable to try to get away with assault. Or people who get away with assault are liable to try to get away with murder. Or people who break the law sneaking across the border are more liable to break other laws.

But the people who don't like wearing muzzles --- why them folks are liable want to keep their Bibles and guns!

Times have changed. The time for self sacrifice is over. It is no longer acceptable for the remote possibility spreading an infection to automatically outweigh the physical discomfort to safeguard against it.

Why Trump-appointed judge's mask decision is particularly disastrous

Disastrous to the far left Dem crazies, which is a very good thing.
I have never put on a mask in my life and I am as healthy as ever. And old.

Maskers must be mocked tarred and feathered for what they have put us through. At this point that cheap piece of cloth is a security blanket for the mentally ill.

Gave up masking when NJ dropped the mandates in the spring of 2021. Have never gotten COVID. Meanwhile, four maskerbator coworkers got it, two of them twice.

Read the decison of US District Judge Kathryn Kimball Mizelle.

She is spot on:

I absolutely hate wearing a mask on long flights.

This is not an op-ed piece, is it? If you are a reporter, then report! Your personal preferences and aversions are irrelevant to the news story.

I’m also appalled that masks are no longer required for air travel and on other forms of public transit.

This is not an op-ed piece, is it? No one cares if you are "appalled."

Regards,
