U.S. District Court filings reveal a new character in U.S. v. Michael Sussmann
Washington’s best inside look at how determined Hillary Clinton campaign operatives conspired to bring down former President Donald Trump is contained in the expanded writings of John Durham.
Among his U.S. District Court filings, a new character has emerged in the case of U.S. v. former Clinton campaign attorney Michael Sussmann. David M. Martin is an FBI cyber whiz who knows how the bureau debunked the Democrats’ Russian Alfa Bank-Trump conspiracy story. The question is, as a proposed special counsel trial witness, what will he be allowed to tell us?
One of the researchers on whom Mr. Sussmann relied upon talked in an email about how easy it is to fake internet communications. Another Sussmann-linked computer scientist called Mr. Trump and his friends “thugs.”
We also see that these high-tech spies were able to penetrate one of Mr. Trump’s Wi-Fi routers. In all, the group assembled by tech executive Rodney Joffe snatched proprietary internet traffic from Trump Tower, Mr. Trump’s Central Park West apartment building and the Trump White House in early 2017.
What is impressive is the sheer effort by Clinton devotees in 2016 to take a mass of inconclusive data and try to convince themselves and the FBI that Mr. Trump was a Russian agent.
Mr. Durham is filing these motions as Mr. Sussmann faces trial next month on a charge of lying to the FBI. On Wednesday, Judge Christopher Cooper denied his request to dismiss the case.

So this tells us that Sussman was making stuff up, and doing
his best to create anti-Trump evidence. He was doing it on
the behalf of the Clinton campaign, and...

to the Clinton insiders.
Both the FBI and CIA knew this was all tripe as early as
February 2017, but opted to sit in Clinton waste for years.

wouldn’t bring this up, but when I read someone talk
about the righteous of Carter, it rubs me the wrong way.
Anyone praising me as righteous would get a negative
reaction from me as well. I try, but I have had my
share of failures in my life.
The Old Testament has many examples of people who have
committed great sins, that God forgave. And the people
who committed them remained favored in God’s eyes.
Carter may very well be another such person. It just
rubs me the wrong way when folks hold him up as a
paragon of virtue.
Is he a Clinton level infraction guy? No, I wouldn’t
go that far.
The headline should read: “Trump was right! They were ALL spying on him!”

Thanks to a more detailed filing by John Durham last night {pdf here, h/t Techno}, we can now see the guardrails, rules and general direction the prosecution is taking.
In essence, the underlying Trump-Russia conspiracy theory material from the Clinton campaign, via Rodney Joffe to Michael Sussmann, was fabricated – likely for a dual purpose:
(A) to coverup and make excuses for the stunningly embarrassing, potentially unlawful and politically terrible April 2016 DNC email leaks, which showed the DNC Club internally working to secure the nomination for Hillary Clinton, while trying to destroy her primary opponent, Bernie Sanders.
and
(B) to create the political Russia narrative against Trump, to be deployed later in the general election.
Within the general direction Durham is following, the FBI was duped by a purposeful and manipulative intent from the Clinton campaign. Meanwhile, the CIA [Agency-2] did not buy into the technological evidence saying it was not “technically plausible” and was “user created and not machine/tool generated.”

The prosecutorial approach by John Durham positions all of the corruption outside the institutions of government, thereby protecting them.
The bad guys, the corrupt lawbreakers, are the people directly connected to the Clinton Campaign and all of the political and legal agents in/around the Clinton political machine.
As the prosecutorial narrative is unfolding, the institutions of government were victims to the horrible, terrible activity by the Clinton outsiders.
Pay no attention to the aligned politics and weaponization of the White House, DOJ, DOJ-NSD, FBI main, FBI-CoIntel, CIA, Senate Intelligence Committee, or memberships therein.
