Look at the list and it is clear who destroyed the dignity of the US Presidency with the ‘blue dress’ debauchery.
I know many Freepers disparage Jimmy Carter and others but they honored their marriages and the office:

Huh?
That great Christian Sunday School teacher decided it was a
swell idea to do a Playboy interview, you know, the rag that
was so supportive of Christianity and family values.
In it he thought it would make him look pretty cool if he
openly admitted to lusting after women other than his wife.
I’ve always wondered how his wife felt about his fidelity
after hearing about that.
The Bible says that if you have lusted after other women,
you have already had sex with them in your heart.
Look, we all have sins in our closet, but there isn’t a
snowball’s chance in hell, that I would do an interview
in Playboy as a Christian, and then drop a bombshell on
my wife from that venue.
I have no respect for him, based on that escapade. Many
of us have strayed, but to create an unforced error in
that venue at the expanse of his wife, was incredibly
thoughtless and narcissistic.
God hears our confessions and extends forgiveness. I
wouldn’t bring this up, but when I read someone talk
about the righteous of Carter, it rubs me the wrong way.
Anyone praising me as righteous would get a negative
reaction from me as well. I try, but I have had my
share of failures in my life.
The Old Testament has many examples of people who have
committed great sins, that God forgave. And the people
who committed them remained favored in God’s eyes.
Carter may very well be another such person. It just
rubs me the wrong way when folks hold him up as a
paragon of virtue.
Is he a Clinton level infraction guy? No, I wouldn’t
go that far.
