Agreements with FEC call for payments of $105,000, $8,000
We now know that the Democratic National Committee and the Hillary Clinton campaign for president in 2016 misled the federal government about funding that infamous and thoroughly debunked "Steele dossier" that made wild and unsubstantiated allegations about then-candidate Donald Trump. It's because they've agreed to pay fines of $105,000, and $8,000, respectively, for those actions that broke federal law.

Recall how the FEC trampled Dnesh D’Sousa for his alleged $20K donations they deemed improper. Under threat to do worse to him, he plead guilty and suffered a $30K fine, 5 years probation, and months of community service.
Here there are no limits on the DNC nor on Clinton, and the FEC threatened nobody this time. Kid gloves it seems. Or wet noodles perhaps.
The double standards are rife.
Does any foresee justice forthcoming within our system anytime soon?
Please convince me.
She doesn't have to pay anything. The fine is to her campaign, so it will be paid with leftover money from donations. It could be $8,000,000 and it would be meaningless to her.
Cost of doing business.

This is what they’d like to do with Hunter, but there are those Laptops he lost.
.
Sounds like they got away with it. They WILL do it again.
There's that much loose change in the waiting room couch.
$40 million to Cankles’ lawyers. They should give it back.
Another Judgment is coming, which won’t be laughed off.
Had Hillary won, it would all have been confirmed as Trump colluding, and he might be sitting in a prison cell for daring to challenge her Heinous.
They will do it again, and if they are more careful we will never find out.
That’s like an outstanding parking ticket.
They probably found this much spare change in the cushions on their respective couches.
The money trail behind the Steele dossier has been a subject of intense political scrutiny for years. More than $1 million flowed from the Clinton campaign and DNC to the law firm Perkins Coie, which then hired the opposition research company Fusion GPS. That company later hired Steele and asked him to use his overseas contacts to dig up dirt about Trump’s ties to Russia.
Steele has maintained that his research was unverified, required further investigation and was not meant for public disclosure. But his memos were leaked in January 2017, weeks before Trump took office. Over the years, a series of investigations and lawsuits have discredited many of Steele’s central allegations about collusion and exposed the unreliability of Steele’s sourcing.

Does that give Trump “standing” for a slander lawsuit?
Probably the only damages that Trump could show in a civil suit would be that it cost him the election. Proving that Hillary’s conspiracy did that would be difficult. Lots evidence, but try getting a federal judge to recognize it and then not have some appellate judge toss it. Still, Trump has to keep the pressure on.
Dozens of class action lawsuis brought by groups from industry, individuals in each state, and by political candidates, etc., could well destroy the DNC for defrauding America’s.
If she pays even a $0.01 cent fine, it’s an admission of
guilt.
I wonder what the value would be, if Trump sued her for what
she bought and paid for, and pushed off on the American
public for over four years.
His and the nation’s losses could be staggering.
I think all Clinton Foundation funds and Bill’s future salary
should just about cover it.
Slap? How about a shake. What difference does it make.
Oops, I forgot all savings and bank accounts, plus the
liquidation of all properties.
