Whoopi Goldberg said Thursday on ABC’s “The View” that Republicans who criticize President Joe Biden’s response to the Russian invasion of Ukraine should answer for their support of former President Donald Trump’s dealings with Ukraine.
Goldberg introduced a clip montage Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX), Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA), House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) and Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) critiquing Biden.

I’ve said it before on here, but I’ll say it again... I don’t understand the concept of “Whoopi Goldberg.”
30+ years ago, her offbeat looks and gifts for physical comedy resulted in brief run of successful films (Ghost, Sister Act, etc.).
But how is it that in 2022 this not-very-bright, uneducated, unattractive-to-the-point-of-repulsive ignoramus is apparently considered one of America’s most interesting and important voices of social and political commentary? I don’t get it at all.
It’s roughly analogous to network television seeking commentary on the likes of Federal Reserve policy and the state of affairs in the Balkans from Shirley Hemphill (God rest her soul).
