I’ve said it before on here, but I’ll say it again... I don’t understand the concept of “Whoopi Goldberg.”
30+ years ago, her offbeat looks and gifts for physical comedy resulted in brief run of successful films (Ghost, Sister Act, etc.).
But how is it that in 2022 this not-very-bright, uneducated, unattractive-to-the-point-of-repulsive ignoramus is apparently considered one of America’s most interesting and important voices of social and political commentary? I don’t get it at all.
It’s roughly analogous to network television seeking commentary on the likes of Federal Reserve policy and the state of affairs in the Balkans from Shirley Hemphill (God rest her soul).
You can take the ghettopotamus out of the ghetto - but you can’t take the ghetto out of the fat ignorant airhead.
She has The Card!
She’s black which raises her imputed IQ 20 points for the purpose of getting hired on TV and pontigicating about anything that comes to mind.
