It’s time we started referring to wealthy Americans as “oligarchs”: Soros, Gates, Zuckerberg, Blumenthal, Buffett, Dorsey, Bezos, etc. These people have as much power and influence as any of the Russian oligarchs, so they deserve that same title, redolent of corruption and outsized political influence. And you can add-in Europeans like Klaus Schwab.
