The thinking was if the oligarchs were made to feel pain they would pressure Putin into calling off the war. Clearly hasn't worked.
Yes it does, it makes them think twice on who they are going to profit from and financially support.
It's now apparent these ultra rich Russian businessmen (That's what an oligarch is) are now feeling the financial pinch without watching their mansions being bombed to shit or their multi-million dollar super yachts being seized and sold for auction and the profits used to help rebuild the country their president is destroying.......
