President Joe Biden warned Russian President Vladimir Putin on Friday that any attack against NATO could spark World War III.
The president spoke about the conflict at a House Democrat retreat in Philadelphia, vowing again to defend “every inch” of NATO territory from Putin and the Russians.

Russia doesn’t have the army to engage in a multi-front war. The question I would ask is who would come to Russia’s defense? The Chicoms might think it would be a great time to tackle Taiwan, but I seriously doubt if their battle equipment is much better that what Russia is using.
I heard some expert from one of the Washington think tanks on the radio the other day and he was explaining how Russia and China have poured money into sexy new weapons systems, but they ignore the support systems, troop training, and logistics and supply, as well as their primary infantry forces.
He said they look 10 feet tall and bullet proof but doubts that they are prepared for sustained battle operations. So, their fall back is nuclear weapons.

Russia can take Ukraine but they do not have the capabilities to invade Central/Western Europe.
Ukraine with 41 million is a difficult task for them.
With an Army 1/9 the size it was in the Cold War (Soviet), no Warsaw Pact, they are going to attack a NATO partner, today? Really?
Is that dementia talking or is it some sort of attempt at “tough talk” that panders to the masses in the West but is meaningless. Is this his way of defining victory and showing we held off the Russians and then pretend we were successful even though Ukraine does not become a NATO and EU member (redefining things to appear we were victorious)?

I agree with your comments. That is why the situation is very dangerous (on the one hand) and can be fixed with intelligent and calm negotiations (on the other hand).
Under a normal administration there would be no name calling and finger pointing, just calm behind the scenes work to create a win win scenario.
