Trump needs to used his media acolytes for attacks on the media. He needs to stay out of that fray, it does not help him overall. It doesn’t matter what Trump says. Anything a person says can be spun in a way for the desired effect. They would find something to focus on to make Trump look in a bad light no matter what he says.
