Fort Lauderdale's police chief has been fired after only about six months on the job following an investigation into complaints that he made hiring and promotion decisions with an improper minority-first approach...
Scirotto, a former assistant chief in Pittsburgh, was the first openly gay chief hired in Fort Lauderdale...
Scirotto once said a conference room wall of photos was "too white” and said, “I’m gonna change that.”
Another time, when considering a promotion, the investigation found that Scirotto said “which one is blacker?”

The city manager basically said this racist cop's motives were good, but he didn't go about it the right way. So in other words, he shouldn't have said it out loud.
Taking the lead of our commander in chief...
I lived in Ft. Lauderdale for more than 50 years. For the past thirty years it was a tiny red dot in a sea of Broward blue. About 10 years ago it was swamped and is now as deep blue as anywhere else in south Florida
.
Taking someone’s race into account when hiring violates the constitution - unless they are trying out for an acting role in a play/movie where the character is of a particular race.

Stop putting queers in positions of power.

This actually an admission that the chief was hired under duress of extortion.
Anyone care to guess the direction (male>female v. female>male) of the transgender who will be hired to replace him?
He has a future on the White House staff.
...happening in every HR department across the country.
I’m visiting in Lauderdale by the Sea, and it’s VERY pro-Trump, anti-Biden, and anti-Establishment.
There are “Let’s Go Brandon” hats and shirts every where.
Choosing based on race or sexual minority group status... sound like chicago city positions for the past decade.
I’m sure he’ll end up heading the Human Resources Office in the Biden administration, he’d fit right in with their plans.
Yes, LBTS is a separate city and so tiny that it’s politically irrelevant. I think there are around 30 incorporated cities in Broward County, which is ridiculous in itself. With few exceptions like LBTS and Hillsboro Beach they’re run by loons. Even most of the independent cities contract with the Broward Sheriff’s Office for law enforcement, and of course the schools and health care system are run by the county as well.
What about those who were unfairly hired/promoted? Do they get to keep their positions? No half measures!
How do you think the mayor of NY got his cop job?
I’m old enough to remember when “human resources” was called personnel. As I recall, that’s about the same time as this country started going to hell.
Hey…I thought that was the way wokism works????qualifications be damned as long as the right boxes are checked…c’mon man…
Scirotto once said a conference room wall of photos was “too white” and said, “I’m gonna change that.
Back when bammy was president, our local VA clinic’s wall was lined with pictures of their chain of command and leadership. Not a single photo was a white male. Not one.
How would this idiot respond to seeing this?
