A Russian military convoy that was outside of Ivankiv, Ukraine, on Sunday has since made it to the outskirts of Kyiv, satellite images show.
On Sunday, the convoy was roughly 40 miles northwest of the Ukrainian capital, according to images provided by Maxar Technologies.
Maxar said that roughly 17 miles of roadway is chocked full of the convoy, which consists of armored vehicles, tanks, towed artillery and other logistical vehicles.
The private US company said the convoy was located on the T-1011 highway at Antonov air base around 11:11 a.m local time.
Antonov is roughly 17 miles from the center of the Ukrainian capital.

The outcome was never in doubt.
If the commies haven’t won it by now, it gets more in doubt with each passing day.
Ukrainian radar is down and their fuel dumps destroyed. There is no air support going on.
The damage on that road, dubbed The Highway of Death afterwards, was done by a couple of F-15Es, IIRC.
And if your Aunt had a penis he’d be your Uncle. The Ukes were out gunned from the get go. Superior fire power rules. There ain’t no rescue coming. NATO namely the Poles and Turks better get their crap together. Our dumb ass President is useless and the VP ain’t got a penis either.
Because I correct/augment a comment made about A10s and the HOD I’m some kind of holdout that thinks the #ukraineiswinning narrative is real? MSM and social media influencing doesn’t change the troops, the armor and the numbers. The end is certain given no extraordinary outside interference - it’s only a matter of when..
And FWIW, your penis comment to me was unnecessary and insulting..
Sorry should have posted it to the 25 post. If they had A10’s or F15’s they’d be using them. They were toast from the start. Now the occupation. Glad I am not Russian in Ukraine, in uniform. Regards
They also have their BM-30 Smerch rocket artillery which is their equivalent to our MLRS. Go to YouTube and see a video of these things in action. They are totally awesome and their terminal effects are horrifying. They also are now equipped with EW munitions in addition to their lethal payloads and can wreak havoc with any countermeasures the Ukrainians have.
Yes. I find it highly unlikely the Russians would allow a column that long to proceed undefended to their satisfaction.
“Resistance is waiting. Ever heard of the concept of “ambush?” Nah probably not.”
When will it begin and where?
True. The mouse flipping off the raptor. Comes to mind.
A Russian cruise missile one hour ago obliterated the main civil administration building in the center of Kharkiv
A “mostly peaceful” invasion, folks.
Historically speaking to achieve pacification, I think pounding down the occupants is needed to reach acceptance. Anything short leaves opposition and some one shooting you in the arse. This is just my take on the history of the world as I’ve known it. Negotiations didn’t solve WWI which pointed to WWII. Seems the beat goes on. Wonder where this one goes?
Horrible. (The date shown on the video threw me off, then I remembered the European date format: DD MM YYYY.)
The Russians adapted their urban methods in Chechnya. Probe, identify the defender’s location, artillery bombardment. Repeat.
Me too. Hope they all stayed home. Problem with wars is you break things and kill things, then rinse and repeat.
Any reports on casualties?
I haven’t seen any estimates, I guess the question would be how many employees had gotten into the offices by 8:00 am
There were a lot of cars out front when the missile struck
