For the past hundred years, the public has been warned of an existential threat that the Arctic ice would soon be gone and coastal cities would be devastated.
This is from 1922 in the Washington Post by the Associated Press.
The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer
The only time the media deviated from saying that the ice was melting fast was in the 1970s, when they said we were under an existential threat that there was a coming ice age.
Somehow, all the things we are constantly told cause warming, including coal, oil, humans, cars, CO2, and cows, did not cause warming from 1940 to 1975. The Earth cooled a little.
I would love to see an explanation from scientists, educators, politicians, entertainers, and bureaucrats why all the things we are told cause warming didn't do so for 35 years. It must have been magic.
Sadly, journalists don't really care about the tens of millions of jobs that will be destroyed if we get rid of the fossil fuel industry, so they never ask questions. They also don't give a damn about the devastation to the poor, middle class, and small businesses because the policies they support cause higher inflation.
In the past week, CNN and others have run propaganda about how dangerous the next 30 years would be because of climate change. They predict that oceans will rise 10 to 12 inches, or 4/10 of an inch per year, after rising less than 1/100 of an inch per year for the last hundred years. The piece is devoid of facts.

That’s so SCARY!
I’m 5’ 10”, so it the water rises another 5’ 6”, I’ll drown! So I might drown in 6,600 years! WHAT AM I GOING TO DO?
</sarc>
We’ll be dead in 8 years libtards said so meaning this is all irrelevant 🤪
We just had a couple of weeks of extremely cold winter here. It would seem that the cold air here would act as a “Heat Sink” to remove excess heat from the atmosphere.
Think about that. We go from an almost no industrial, vehicle,
or technical impact on global warming to where we are today.
All that caused 1” of ocean rise, which is essentially up
for grabs on accuracy anyway.
Now at this level, we are supposed to believe we will crate
a much larger rise, even though through technology we have
actually seen the U. S. cut it’s emissions.
This global warming thing is just nonsense.
Yes, indeed, we are approaching the peak of another inter-glacial warming period which at some future point reverse toward re-glaciacion. Geology 101.
BS. I doubt they have “measurements “ of ocean levels (which change) from 100 years ago.
GoreBull warming is a liberal scam.
“The Arctic ocean is warming up, icebergs are growing scarcer”
Here’s what I don’t get. About 87% of an iceberg is underwater. Water expands when it freezes. So, when icebergs and Arctic (sea floating) ice melts, it cannot increase sea levels.
Sure, yes, ice on land that melts and the water flows down to the sea can cause water levels to rise.
So, what I don’t get is why journalists, or perhaps jourNOlists, don’t know these basic principles or seem so ignorant of them.
Democrats are lying scum.
O’Bam-Bam has just bought beachfront property in Hawaii. He’s constructing a mansion on it.
He knows the “ climate change “ fairy tale is completely bogus.
The MSM is stuck on stupid.
I keep wondering how much of that so called "rise" EVAPORATES in a 100 years?
IF you fill a large glass with ice, and then top it off to the rim with water-—
When the ice melts, the level will be below the rim.
Before the end of the last global glaciation sea levels were as much as several hundred feet lower. Over several thousand years, a blink of an eye geologically speaking, they came close to the present levels. All this with no coal burning steel mills, gas guzzling SUVs or oil-fired power plants.
We can prepare for what MAY happen, but we cannot CONTROL it.
BTTT
What a diaper load of Potato Head.
Look up and read the interview of Dr. Nils-Axel Morner scientific paper on sea levels if you can find it. It was in EIR magazine dated 6/22/2007.
