CNN chief legal analyst Jeffrey Toobin said Thursday on “The Situation Room” that if former President Donald Trump and his children Ivanka and Don Jr. plead the Fifth when testifying in the civil suit by the state of New York, the jury could draw an “adverse inference.”
Anchor Wolf Blitzer said, “Former President Trump and his kids argued that sitting for a deposition would violate, they say, their constitutional rights; this judge certainly disagreed. What do you make of this ruling?”

Chrissy Wall@ss was WONDERING what that smell was...
is this the latest thing the demos have dreamed up to harass the Trump family?
it’s about time we turn tables on these people
I suspect they have nothing but will, should Donald/Donald Jr have a slip of tongue, which will be exploited for political mischief sake
#MeToobin
The fact that he didn’t lose his job shows that he has a lot of pull over at CNN.
Did he intimate this brilliant deduction over a zoom call? Was he jerking around? Did any of it end with his “O” face?

Is this Jeffrey Toobin the same perv who got caught on camera with his “tube” in his hand?
How about, “I don’t recall”.
Puck him!
Now in lieberal land exercising your constitutional rights declares your guilty in his bizaro world.
Toobin where are your hands?
Ok then…. How does “I don’t recall” work for you Jeffery?
Good summary; I think this basically is the law everywhere in the US in both civil and administrative proceedings.
Toobin, by the way, is a victim of self-abuse. If he agreed with your analysis, it would be one of two times in a day when he was correct (like a stopped clock).
Considering the whole thing is just a political vendetta, I would say as little as possible.
Beat it, Toobin.
You can only say that if you actually don’t. Otherwise it’s perjury. The law is not like TV or the movies. If you get on the stand and claim not to recall something and there is evidence that you do, that’s a problem.
It’s conventional wisdom a Presidential candidate should not take the Fifth. PDJT is not conventional.
First step. Appeal.
Durham strikes nerves more Russia stories to ensue stop Trump by any means.
