Appalling.
Conversely, who will play the part of the ice axe?
—
You are thinking of Trotsky whose murderer used an ice pick.
I was referencing Che Guevara, Baby Castro’s father’s right hand man and enforcer who watched from his office as some 100s of thousands of Cubans were shot on his orders.
Well if the little commie didn't have double-standards he'd have no standards at all.
In PRC, that is Communist China, as opposed to Politically Repressive Canada, they call him 'Little Potato' therefor, I believe that he is best described as a dick-tater. It fits in so many ways.
STRIKE!
All truckers to and from and within Canada should strike!
“ This is another reason why a cashless society can be very dangerous.”
Yes. And they outsource un constitutional acts to private actors, like banks.
I have good acquaintances in oil and gas who cannot get loans because their banks have been ordered not to lend them money by the OIC.
....the First and 14th Amendments do not “permit a State to make criminal the peaceful expression of unpopular views.”
Edwards v South Carolina 1963
Sorry Canada...
I think we’ve already failed the test.
Americans’ comfort means more to them than their freedom.
The Dems know and exploit this.
This would be the U.S. without the Senate and the Electoral College to balance the whims of the large urban areas of this country.
***************
I understand your analogy but the senate and EC are no match for the relentless push of liberalism. Our fundamental problem is that we don’t have a political party that fights for us. The GOP is a useless fake party; a facade with nothing behind it.
A secondary, and related problem, is a complete lack of principled leadership in this country. We have no real statesmen or true champions of liberty here.
It takes great leadership to win at anything. We simply don’t have it. The one person that stepped forward to lead and defend the country was destroyed by a corrupt, self-serving system.
Trudy has become a petty tyrant. Persecuting people for protesting his abuse of their rights.
It seems rather obvious that politicians anywhere would do seek to expand their own power, for this is usually the reason they run for office in the first place.
But the unaparty’s largely one-sided behavior is usually based upon that simple fact.
Republican politicians for the most part do not like to give up power anymore than democrats, the only difference is their base is generally a less tolerate of the idea of them having such power.
So many Republican politicians tend to backstab their base and weakly sabotage their own power reduction efforts for that reason.
They would rather be in the minority of an all powerful state than in the majority of a weak one.
Like it or not we are unlikely to change this fact with simple elections anymore than we ever have.
If you want to reduce their power that must come form the outside defended from the position of the minority.
We can’t do that via Federal elections.
The advancement of liberty must come from clever plans and methods to cripple their power enacted from below.
Using what little help we have in Washington only to sabotage Federal efforts to counter.
We can use state Governments but only because we are asking their politicians to advance their own power at the Federal Government’s expense, and we are only doing that because we know at the end of the day we can check the State with our feet.
Washington D.C. however has no check and therefore we can tolerate no exception to their limits.
I hope every trucker is dumping their bank accounts into non-custodial crypto wallets right now.
Another reason crypto is going to explode. The government can’t touch it if you have it in a non-custodial wallet.
Just wait until some hackers manage to freeze the ‘accounts’ of countless welfare recipients!
Good advice.
