A Rasmussen poll released on Wednesday found that most voters support removing soft-on-crime prosecutors in the United States' most prominent cities.

According to the poll, voters opposed the soft-on-crime policies of prosecutors including Alvin Bragg in New York, Chesa Boudin in San Francisco, Kim Foxx in Chicago, and George Gascón in Los Angeles.

Fifty-eight percent of U.S. voters believe a law permitting an appointed state oversight committee with the ability to remove state prosecutors from office if they refuse to do their job would improve safety. Only 21% disagree, and 20% are unsure, according to the poll.

Some voters would like to see these criminals that ignore their oath of office do time behind bars. They are sworn to uphold the laws. If they don’t want to to that, apply to be public defenders.

Judges have the final say. Prosecutors can only bring them before the judge. Some judges tend to be soft on crime and the buck stops with them.

The problem is nearly all these prosecutors are elected in far-left districts.

A significant number of people in these districts are criminals, relatives of criminals, or are convinced the "justice system" is unfair to people like them.

Give a funding advantage to these prosecutors, who continuously talk of "equitey" "racial justice" and "social justice", and they get elected.

The problem is prosecutors who refuse to bring criminals to the courts.

I suspect the better strategy is in the Supreme Court removing the absolute immunity for prosecutors they created in the mid-70s, out of thin air.

Next would be state legislatures changing laws to allow the public to go after prosecutors for mal-practice.

Funny thing, that, and they cannot understand the Constitutional Directive: "Shall Not Be Infringed" on solid Parchment.

I'm for returning escaped Kangaroos to Australia.

Not giving the Aussies or Roos a choice here.
