GOP at war: Furious Trump says Mitch McConnell does NOT speak for the Republican party and 'did nothing to stop the fraudulent election'
Daily Mail ^ | Feb 9 | By GEOFF EARLE

Donald Trump tore into Mitch McConnell on Wednesday and said he does 'not represent the voice of the Republican Party' after the Senate Minority Leader called January 6 an 'insurrection' and criticized the censure of Adam Kinzinger and Liz Cheney.

The former president attacked his GOP nemesis for doing nothing to stop the Biden administration, the 'fraudulent election' or the 'persecution of political opponents' in a scathing statement on Wednesday - deepening divisions in a party on the brink of civil war.

'Mitch McConnell does not speak for the Republican Party, and does not represent the views of the vast majority of its voters, Trump said Wednesday.

'He did nothing to fight for his constituents and stop the most fraudulent election in American history. And he does nothing to stop the lawless Biden Administration, the invasion of our Borders, rising Inflation, Unconstitutional mandates, the persecution of political opponents, fact finding on the incompentent [sic] Afghanistan withdrawal, the giving away our energy independence, etc., which is all because of the fraudulent election. Instead, he bails out the Radical Left and the RINOs.'

Trump responded just a few hours after McConnell brushed off Trump's name-calling, joked that 'Old Crow' was his 'favorite bourbon' and insisted no Republicans wanted him ousted from leadership.

Trump, 75, and McConnell, 79, have been in a long-running feud, even after McConnell helped push through Trump's court picks and tax cuts. McConnell denounced Trump after the Capitol riot, even as he voted to acquit him during his second impeachment.

Do you want to spend the last 10 years of your career as a Democrat?

No way he is alive in ten years. Look at him, he could drop dead anytime now.

I would like to correct President Trump......

McConnell does speak for the Republican Party, the Democratic Party and the UNIPARTY. What/Who he does NOT speak for are the millions of people in this country that voted for and support President Trump.

That can only be done if the people, like say the ones in South Dakota, let the state GOP that they will support another candidate and will NOT vote for Thune. If that means the Dem wins, so be it.

Two of the biggest reasons we have the issues we do with Republicans in Congress: We allow the state and federal GOP apparatus to pick our candidate for us and we end up in the position of having to choose between the RINO/GOPe/Chamber of Commerce Republican over the Democrat.

Time for that to end. So, when the folks call for a poll, tell them that you do not support the incumbent. Period.

Does anyone remember Biden or his Spox laid blame with the right as conspiracy theorists and anti-science hicks saying someone in leadership on the right has to tell the idiot hillbillies to get Vaxxed and wear masks?

The next day, Mitch McConnell walked to a microphone and dutifully told Republicans to get vaccinated.

Mitch takes orders from Biden.

Then, McConnell swore he wouldn’t raise the debt limit, and Dems would have to do the dirty work, and the Joe Biden called him, and McConnell said he would raise it, and then Schumer embarrassed him.

Only for McConnell to say, Joe, next time I’m not doing it really, then he broke that promise, too.

The Senate, including the Republicans there, work for Biden every time. Watch their actions, not their words.

.

That would be the signal for anyone with a brain to depart supporting McConnell.

How is McConnell only 4 years older than Trump? He looks old enough to be Trumps fathers age

Time for McConnell to go.

We knew it was time for The Turdle to go when he was up for re-election. Trump endorsed him anyway. That why I ignore whoever Trump endorses unless I verified he was worth a crapin the first place. Trump sucks at hireing!

Instead of McConnell asking Biden to take a Cognitive Test, he runs out and implores Republicans to get Vaxxed, two days after Joe said the Republicans were the problem and not doing enough.

This is our only hope.

GOP, Inc. has to be destroyed and rebuilt or a new party must be formed.

The Mitch McConnell’s and Lindsay Graham’s must disappear.

Trump is spot on, although — it being the Daily Fail — I sincerely doubt Trump was “furious”; it’s just the sort of backhanded slap media types can’t keep themselves from.

It took Trump long enough to see A$$HOLE Mitch's "modus operandi"

I like Trump but sometimes it's obvious that he's oblivious to the "obvious!"

I’ll tell you what: in executive business if we had that many turnovers and that many hostile resignations and that many firings of deputies and assistants under the CEO (who are all praised when they hire on) there would come a point we would say, “hell guess what...the problem isn’t in his hires and all the people that are leaving, the problems in the guy doing the hiring”… But you’ll never hear that here, not in a million years.

Elections are up to the states but if any national repubs should have known about and done something about the steal, it should have been the RNC/GOP as in Ronna Romney McDaniel and co.
