Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Beto O’Rourke appeared to back off his 2019 statement that "hell yes" he intends to take guns away from citizens if elected to office.
"I’m not interested in taking anything from anyone," O’Rourke told reporters in Tyler, Texas on Tuesday, according to KLTV. "What I want to make sure that we do is defend the Second Amendment."

And not a single “reporter” asked questions to expose the gimmick Beato is using to say he’ll “defend the Second Amendment”. You can bet his facile “interpretation” twists gun ownership from an absolute Right of the People into a severely limited privilege controlled and licensed by government.
He wants to “defend” his version of the Second Amendment, which has about 10,000 loopholes in it that allow the government to deny you a firearm or take them away and put you on a “do not sell to” list that anyone can put you on where you cannot view and there is no process to get off it.

I see and hear hundreds, if not thousands of them every day!
I read an interesting argument that there is disagreement as to whether Beto O’Rourke is a “greasy weasel” or a “sleazy, greasy weasel”. (I tend to lean to the latter).
However, I wonder which you all would prefer?
The first description is succinct and has a more memorable sound to it, but the latter can be argued is more descriptive.
