I give “US officials” full credit for knowing a false-flag event when they see one.
US officials only have credibility with American Marxists and their Western European allies. No hyperbole, the US federal gov has virtually zero credibility the world over.
The pandemic no longer will allow their total control so now they will incite a war. Biden will then declare a national emergency and declare Martial Law. Then he will cancel elections for November because of the danger to our democracy and all will remain the same.

Let’s face it - the Russians are not new to this.
Of course, they would have a whole campaign plan for managing and manipulating International opinion. Key to that, would be a defensible casus belli. Defending the ethnic Russian, and/or Russian speaking communities in other Countries, has been their recurring theme.
They have been wargaming and planning these since well before seizing Crimea in 2014 - which was considered a masterfully conducted and innovative effort on the diplomatic/political/propaganda fronts.
