Ottawa police say they have been in touch with leaders of a trucker convoy over weekend protest plans in the capital and are getting ready for several scenarios — including violence.
Chief Peter Sloly told the police services board Wednesday that he is working with the RCMP and intelligence bodies to prepare for the protests against a COVID-19 vaccine mandate for cross-border truckers.
Sloly said the convoy organizers have been co-operative in telling police about their plans for the protest, which he predicts could last several days, but the situation is evolving rapidly.
Deputy Chief Steve Bell said police are "tracing parallel groups" that are preparing to join the truckers, as well as counter-protesters, and are monitoring social media.
Ottawa police estimate there could be up to 2,000 demonstrators, but this number is shifting quickly, and warn residents against travelling downtown during the event.
Sloly said while police support the right to peaceful protest, officers will be prepared to move protesters out of the demonstration zone should the situation become violent or threatening.
Some supporters of the convoy, including some Conservative MPs, have taken to social media to warn the vaccine mandate for truckers will leave store shelves empty. Some have gone so far as to predict Canadians will starve.

I hope Trudeau and the RCMP or whoever is Federal Law Enforcement in Canada are not like our DOJ and FBI, otherwise we could see real problems when those truckers get to Ottawa.
Stage a false flag violent act, blame it on the trucker and crack down with a vengeance.
Trudeau in the last day or two has called the truckers terrorists, what better way to prove than stage a false flag event for this weekend.

People in uniform have to make a choice on who they are loyal to. Their fellow citizens or the people who give them resources.

But sometimes you have to still do the right thing anyways.
Any violence is going to be instigated either by antifa, blm, or the government (their version of the FIB).
This will only stop when the police stop beating innocent civilians protesting for their rights...Germany (naturally), Australia and Canada seem to have been the worst on this. The cops, being extremely brave, seem to go mostly for older men and women who can’t run fast enough, or for people who trip and fall, or even for the handicapped. And the cops beat them to a pulp and also spray them like roaches with pepper spray while they’re lying curled up on the ground.
Such brutality. This has got to stop, this is not the civliized western world that we once knew.
NYPD has beaten a few protesters (not BLM, naturally) but I think they’ve backed off and one of the reasons was probably that many of them just refused to do it.
Cops, exercise your consciences. You know it’s wrong to club and assault harmless people for violating irrational government orders.
Better object now than be imprisoned after the next Nuremburg trials...which will surely come. You cannot oppress a people this way and expect to go home to sleep peacefully in your beds. There will be trials and there will be justice.

The truckers need to instead pick one city or region at a time and refuse any deliveries in or out of it. Refuse for days, weeks, or months depending on how obscene the city politicians’ Communist diktats are.
Branding in progress… Truckers are also being labeled white Supremacists, and separatist. And the reason for supply chain disruptions.

Watch the truckers and anyone protesting with them are about to get setup by the police/government. Police that enforce mandates are the farthest thing from being a heros.
