There was a special on a couple of nights ago called “Secrets of Playboy” on A&E that explains it very well. I am sure it will be on again and I highly recommend it. The thing that changed? Hefner died. He had a vast network of internal spies that operated a lot like a cult, or Scientologist, etc., and when he died people around him starting writing books because they no longer feared his empire. There seems to be a lot of darkness there, as one might imagine.

Doesn’t she have some responsibility or does she think life has no consequences for her decisions?
Even more so — beautiful women who go to the Playboy Mansion and want to hang out with Hefner and decide to do what he wants, should probably hold themselves accountable more than these women seem willing to do.
And just how did an underage girl end up at Playboy Mansion?

It was pretty clear Hef’s world was him using women for sex and the women using Hef to launch their future ventures.
Pretty sad actually as the mansion was a dump and Hef controlled all aspects of their lives.
