Didn’t have to. The jabs they are allowing healthcare employers to mandate are experimental and nobody receiving them is sufficiently informed on them to give informed consent.
The OSHA ruling isn’t important in the bigger picture, but the healthcare ruling is.

Citizens didn’t hold Congress responsible for such things. Too busy protecting their Congresscritters because “Our Rep/Senator is different! He brings home the bacon for us!”

I don’t think you can say that as a blanket statement.
There are big turnovers in congress periodically.
Golly gee, another supposed conservative justice turns coat against all that is conservative. Go figure! But, as we well know, we have seen it a hundred times before.
Some of these dweebs seem to have gotten hung up on the rights of federal agencies to make rules I believe, regarding the part of the decision on healthcare workers.
However due to the fact that Medicare and Medicaid get funded by the taxpayer it should be unlawful to mandate that these taxpayer funds, some from those who don’t believe in the vaccine and who shouldn’t have to fund vaccine mandates, be used to mandate Covid vaccines.
They didn’t think about common sense here or about problems with the vaccines.
They are the exception to the rule, and the astounding number people that have spent twenty, thirty, forty years or more in Congress prove that what I said is true.
Also, see the record here on FR - so many people defending long-term incumbents that are from their district who have sold everyone else down the river.
All that being as it may, the point is that Congress should have been brought to heel on this de-facto blackmail of the states and others receiving funding more than half a century ago - and nobody did.

IMO they are mostly controlled and going along with the globalist agenda. By splitting the baby when they are killing the baby, they give our side’s pom-pom wavers a chance to get distracted with, “Hey, they gave us half a baby, we got half a baby!” Meanwhile the Constitution continues to get shredded.
Oh, and it almost seems strategic how the Trump judges and Roberts take turns with their perfidy, so it is less obvious that Trump delivered three globalist stooges who fit perfectly with the Roberts Court.
