The FBI's Broken Relationship with Us
American Thinker.com ^ | January 13, 2022 | John Green

All large organizations suffer from the occasional presence of bad actors. The FBI is no exception. But it managed to retain a good relationship with the public in spite of its flaws, because it was still solving rather than creating crimes.

But something fundamentally changed in the last five years. The Comey clown car arrived in the center ring and unloaded under the spotlight. As the public watched the comedy of James "The Cardinal" Comey, Andrew McCabe, Peter Strzok, and Lisa Page, searching for phantom Russian colluders under the bed, while actual Russian colluders cheered them on, we knew we needed to take a closer look. The examination has been shocking.

The "Midyear Exam," the bureau's name for the Hillary Clinton email investigation, was a farce. No subpoenas were issued, central figures were given immunity without cooperation, evidence was destroyed by the FBI, and then the attorney general had a clandestine meeting with "Slick Willy" Clinton — the husband of the target. Surprise: No charges were filed. "The Cardinal" Comey held a press conference and announced that even though Hillary had broken numerous laws, she didn't mean it, so he was giving her a pass. It must have been an accident that an email server, containing classified documents, appeared in her bathroom — with a support staff.

"Crossfire Hurricane" was the investigation into alleged Trump collusion with Russia to steal an election. Within a couple of months, the bureau knew that the whole thing was a hoax created by Hillary, yet the investigation continued for three years — eventually transitioning into a special counsel investigation. Peter Strzok called "Crossfire Hurricane" the bureau's insurance policy — against a Trump presidency. It was a good way to show off for his mistress, Lisa Page — a rabid anti-Trump FBI lawyer.

The intelligence community was bad enough, then Trump came along. Trump took no steps to clean up the IC when it was painfully obvious how compromised it was. To compound the problem Trump nominated and allowed them to ply their treachery the most destructive gang of insurrectionists this country has ever seen.

If there are 99% good agents as Seah Hannity always says, why are there no leaks about the corruption?

More than 5 years. The author forgets:

Clinton White House Office of Personnel Management having the confidential FBI files on hundreds of prominent Republicans in their possession.

Al Gore accepting foreign donation from monks in Vietnam.

Chinagate, where the Clintons sold seats on US trade missions in return for donations to the Clinton-Gore campaign and the transfer of missile technology to the communist Chinese government.

TWA 800 investigation to ensure it was not terrorism.

Whitewater, Vince Foster, Travelgate, Lewinski, etc.

During Obama, the FBI investigated Benghazi, the Clinton Foundation, etc.

These are only the tip of the iceberg with regard to scandals by Democrats that the FBI assisted in delaying, losing evidence, giving immunity, and clearing.

I am not sure he had the power.

It has become more and more painfully evident that the leftists of the Obama reign never left and ran the government despite Trump’s Best efforts. Ergo we are now on Obama’s fourth term.

“The bureau will move from investigating to instigating and, finally, to conducting crimes.”

Done!

Exactamundo.

It is a child’s view of history to think the federal agencies are up and ready to work with the newly elected POTUS directly or through his appointments to implement his vision for America. Our givernment is too big to succeed. What was done to Trump with regards to a major political party and its minions inside the givernment to remove him from office, and his own party sitting on the sidelines or enabling this to go on for 4 years ought to tell you that the worst has not yet arrived for the freedom loving people of this country.

Trump’s best efforts? What? He did nothing! He hired Barr, Wray, Haspell, Milley, to name a few. They ALL served out their terms while running actual coups and the cover up of all time. The NSC was and still is Obama’s Praetorian Guard. Heck, the NSC ran its very own impeachment coup. Go ahead, ask me how many of these insurrectionists Trump fired. Rosenstein, Strzok, McCabe, Priestap, Mueller, the list goes on and on. All of these worst of the worst I’ve ever read about served with Trump’s approval. He fired Comey, no one else. I have to ask the obvious question, was Trump’s personally selected replacement, Wray, better or worse?

Atta boy, keep your head buried in the sand until you occasionally look up and wonder how the hell this happened.

I used to think conducting a massive purge of all Leftists and Statists in the bureau - practically the entire HQ - and then banishing the agency to America....ie somewhere in a rural red state far away from the Washington DC Swamp might be sufficient to save the agency. I no longer think so.

Disband the FBI. Fire everybody.

It is beyond saving.

P.S. He didn’t even mention them raiding Project Veritas for a diary that Project Veritas did not publish and which Project Veritas turned over to them over a year ago. Nor did he mention that Project Veritas’ privileged attorney client information was immediately given to the NY Times.

Nor did he mention Hunter Biden’s laptop which the agency has had in its possession for 2 years with nothing whatsoever having been done despite the overwhelming evidence of corruption on the part of Joe Biden.

A reckoning is coming for the FIB.

So are you saying Trump did a good job of cleaning house in the FBI? He did fire Comey, McCabe, Sztrok, and Yates over at DOJ, but the argument was that is was not enough. Having a weak-ass AG like Sessions for the first 2 years of his Presidency did not help, nor did allowing an obvious partisan like Wray to become FBI Director, so criticism of Trump here is appropriate.

During a nationally broadcast forum Monday evening on faith and politics
Sen. Hillary Clinton (D.-N.Y.) attacked the free market and told listeners
that order to attain energy independence and provide universal health coverage,
it would be necessary to “take away from some people.”

SOMEone sure thinks there is POWER available!

She certainly thinks that she and her leftist pals have the strength to take down the country. I see it locally.

Every person you listed there was serving in a position that requires Senate confirmation. For all his bluster, Trump knew damn well that he wasn’t going to nominate his own people for those jobs.

That’s probably a good thing, at the end of the day. If it were up to him, he might have nominated Michael Cohen to the AG post.

If and when Trump wins re-election his first act should be to fire the entire SES and strip them of their security clearances. Then fire every Federal Agency leader down to the level of G-10.

Let the press and McConnell howl.

Amen! Should have been done spring of 2017. After he fires all that swamp scum he should replace every one with non senate reviewed acting replacements. Six months later replace them with more patriots. Tell McConnell to eat crap and die.
