Georgia Vote-Counting Video Shows Ballot Boxes Followed Proper Chain of Custody
Yahoo News ^ | November 13, 2020 | Frank Chung

Security footage of Georgia poll workers lugging boxes of ballots out from under a table and scanning them after political party poll watchers had gone home for the night sparked controversy last week when the Trump campaign cited it as evidence of voter fraud, but upon further review the ballots appear to have remained in the proper chain of custody over the course of Election Day.

The Trump campaign showed a portion of the election night surveillance video from Atlanta’s State Farm Arena during a Georgia State Senate hearing on Thursday, claiming the footage shows poll workers shooing election observers out of the arena before proceeding to scan boxes of mysterious and possibly illegal ballots.

What ‘audit’ by an independent group was done in Fulton County?

Right. A Republican audit would clearly be illegitimate.

We need one by MAGA partisans.

There was no audit.

Here's what Gabe Sterling said about the alleged multiple scanning of ballots:

In normal ballot processing, if there is a problem with a ballot, what it does is it stops; but before that four or five will get through. So they say delete that last batch and rescan it so they rescan properly. That is the normal process that is done.

If you watch the security camera video you will see the exact same behavior that many interpret as illicit multiple scanning of ballots occurring throughout the day in the presence of media, state election monitors, and partisan poll watchers. For example, see 3:00-4:15 (9:48PM-9:49:15PM EST, note that media and Republican poll watchers were present at this time) at this link. Keep an eye on Wandrea Moss (the lady with the blonde braids with the blue apron.) You will see her start to scan some ballots. After a several have been scanned, however, the machine stops. She takes the ballots out, adjusts them, puts them back in the machine, hits the keyboard, and then the scanning starts up again. This is exactly what Gabe Sterling was talking about in the quote above. It is not anything nefarious. You can see this happening throughout the day with media, state election observers and media present. There is nothing to indicate that the election workers are trying to hide anything. It looks like normal operations, just as Gabe Sterling described.

Ha! Gabe Sterling? You’re kidding, right? The Trump-hating top man in the SoS office under Raffensperger? He’s been caught in lies and fabrications before..

Watch the video for yourself. To my eyes, Gabe Sterling’s explanation seems a lot more credible than this notion that election workers were illicitly scanning ballots multiple times. But watch the video and judge for yourself. Or you can just remain ignorant if you like.

The ignorance is on your part believing 1) Sterling and 2) that the from-under-the-table-boxes of ballots after every monitor was gone at 3AM were legitimate (likely having been collected at the now-famous ‘lock boxes.’)

And if someone wanted to commit voter fraud, it would look exactly as just described.

As they say, if it looks like a duck, walk likes a duck, talks like duck, it's a duck.

2020 General Election Risk-Limiting Audit

Following the November 2020 General Election, the Secretary of State selected the presidential contest for a statewide risk limiting audit ("RLA"). Due to the tight margin of the race and the principles of risk-limiting audits, this audit was a full manual tally of all votes cast. The audit confirmed that the original machine count accurately portrayed the winner of the election.

He implemented his version of a so-called comprehensive audit - of parts of Cobb County ONLY where he knew there would be no evidence of fraud found. The perfunctory ‘tally’ stuff was for show and media... They certainly did not inspect “all votes [ballots] cast.”

And the ‘audit’ of absentee ballots (mail-in)? Here’s what happened with them.

Wonder if anyone has bothered to ask the partisan counting monitors in the State Farm Arena why they left the counting at 10:44 pm?

It really bothers me that after 1 year there are two sides to this event. Truth is not subjective.

> Wonder if anyone has bothered to ask the partisan counting monitors in the State Farm Arena why they left the counting at 10:44 pm?

I don’t know. I do know the Giuliani and the rest of Trump’s legal team (as well as Trump himself) have consistently put forth this story that the counting was stopped, the Republican poll watchers were kicked out, and then counting was resumed after they were gone and the coast was clear. And this what probably 98% of people here on FR are convinced of. But based on what we see in the security cam video that story is just not true.

> It really bothers me that after 1 year there are two sides to this event. Truth is not subjective.

Well, I think semimojo raised some good points in his post (#72.) I think a lot of people are not even interested in considering the possibility that their preferred interpretation of events is true or not. They’d rather focus on sticking it to the “enemy” and maybe worry truth and principles down the road. Personally, I don’t think that is wise course to follow either for our country or for conservatism.

You're a liar.

Michelle Branton's sworn affidavit recalls the exact timeline of events at State Farm.

Furthermore, the commission of a felony in Georgia may be expanded to conspiracy charges upon person or persons who attempt to obstruct justice after the commission of the felony.

"It is a felony under Georgia law to threaten a poll worker or election official, use violence against a poll worker or election official, or attempt to prevent a poll worker or election official from doing their job in any way. Ga. Code § 21-2-566(1)-(2)."

Please let me know exactly where you think I’ve lied. I may have made some mistakes (I’ve tried to be careful, so I don’t think I have), but I’m not going to lie about something like this.

Thanks, that’s very interesting and fills in some holes. I’ll get back it later.

That was a case filed by Lin Wood, I believe. It was thrown out by the court.

By the way, I came across something funny -- an signed declaration by Lin Wood. Read it carefully:

My point in providing the link was not to argue Wood’s case, or on what basis the case was successfully set or not, but that the Consent Agreement existed at all (which has not been refuted to my knowledge).

Had the public been aware of the possibility of such an agreement being reviewed and agreed upon the outpouring of backlash from the voters in this states would have swamped The SoS office and the Governor’s office.

Also, I don’t know what you think is cute about your particular example regarding perjury means, but it must be an inside joke only to you. You sound like and out-of-state DNC lawyer, frankly.
