I’m suspending indefinitely my use of Twitter, Facebook and other social media. I’m doing so not to make a political statement, but in the hope that America can return to kitchen tables, churches, taverns, coffee shops, dance halls (it’s a Texas thing)—whatever it takes to look others in the eye and rebuild our communities and humanity.
As a husband and father, I also want to stop spending so much time looking at a screen and reacting in ways that are inconsistent with who I am and—most important—who I strive to be as a Christian.
While social media has proved a useful vehicle for sharing information quickly, I have concluded that it does more harm than good to individuals and society alike.

That is a good idea. Maybe I will do that rather than cancel all my Facebook stuff.
Churches, taverns and dance halls aren't very accessible at the moment.
But we have kitchen tables where I talk to the same five people every night.
Meanwhile the left is communicating their messages across networks.

Social media was useful for sharing pictures with family and friends. For the most part it’s garbage.
Need to delete Fecebook and Twit.
Fasting and prayer are always good. Set an exact time schedule like it is a goal to achieve, talk to the Holy Spirit about the real struggles that come up while you are doing it, and it will be fullfilling. I have done 30 and 45 day fasts from e-mail, the internet as a whole, this web site......gotta keep things balanced and in perspective.
I reload a lot too. You gotta be focused playing with explosives or you could have way too much fun.
The Messenger part of FakeBook has never been advertised as being free forever and is now split into it’s own program/ap so I would not be surprised when keeping in touch with family is made more difficult in persuance of profit and retribution for all us scummy Trump supporters.
That was the original purpose behind social media. Now it’s just a bunch of monkeys throwing **** at each other.

He is a coward. Certifying the stolen Election wasn’t right, and the Texas lawsuit was right.

Basically it’s a good idea.
And frankly while it’s offensive to be banned, at the same time I’ve thought we need to have old-fashioned correspondence and go “underground” so these commie thugs can’t see what we’re up to. If they allow us on, we are tracked. Everyone knows who we are when we spout off and expose our views. It’s easier for them to hunt us down and thwart our coalitions.
We need to communicate and gather in simple non-tech ways. It may be slower but also undetectable.

But it only takes one human to zot thee.
Stay connected to people in the best way. At this point in time the best way is not Twitter or Facebook or Pinterest or Instagram.
The only one of he above I ever had was Facebook.
I had silenced my Facebook for the duration of the election. I deleted it permanently today. They need to hear the message. If they won’t count my vote they can count my footsteps as I walk away.
