A father has shared how nurses insisted on calling him 'mom' during his pregnancy despite being a man.
Bennett Kaspar-Williams, 37, from Los Angeles, first realised he was trans around ten years ago, in 2011, but didn't begin his transition until three years later.
Then six years later, in 2017 he found Malik, his future husband - who he married in 2019.
The couple decided that they wanted to have children, and weighed the options available to them, with Bennett eventually deciding that he would be comfortable trying to conceive and carrying a child.

I’m so lost reading this opening to the story:
A man gave birth. Therefore a woman gave birth.
A man found his future mate, a man, and became pregnant by him. Therefore a woman had intercourse with a man, became pregnant and carried a baby to term.
A man is angry the nurses called him a “mother” after he gave birth to a baby. Therefore a woman is angry the nurses called her a mother after she successfully carried a baby to full term and delivered a healthy child.
This country is so screwed.
My bet here is that if we were somehow to disable the mainstream news media that this trend would start to reverse within a very short time, perhaps only within months.
