Three retired U.S. Army generals have warned of insurrection or possibly even civil war if the results of the 2024 presidential election are not accepted by sections of the military.
Retired Major Generals Paul D. Eaton and Antonio M. Taguba joined retired Brigadier General Steven M. Anderson urged today's leaders to act to prevent such scenes, calling on today's leaders to "war-game" an attempted coup.
In an op-ed for The Washington Post published on Friday, the former military leaders said they were "increasingly concerned" about the "potential for lethal chaos inside our military, which would put all Americans at severe risk" in the aftermath of the election.
They warned of the potential for "total breakdown of the chain of command along partisan lines" and the risk of a "shadow government" led by a losing candidate who refuses to concede defeat, directly referencing former President Donald Trump.
"In short: We are chilled to our bones at the thought of a coup succeeding next time," they wrote.

The Military has been purged. They are going to support any illegal voting that happens. The Deep state, these individuals included, now are acutely aware that multiple states, guided by fascist actions, broke their own election laws to get Biden 81 million votes. They have to know, that if Trump is re-elected, they are going to root ed out and exposed. Again, they played their hand, they have no way out but election victory at all costs and measures. They are planning the coup blocking to prevent the people from deciding the elections, not dead people and illegal ballot harvesting. They want the people to accept the loss of free and fair elections.
I don’t think he will play nice this next go around, myself. He’s gonna have to get a whole new crew of advisers on recommending people for high positions, IMO. I’d start with full lie detector tests for them.

If people were afraid of a civil war they’d be better behaved. Since they are not I doubt they are actually afraid.
Reminds me how BLM kept saying how blacks were afraid of being killed by Cops just for walking outside. If that were the case blacks would go out of their way to avoid even looking like they were involved in any form of crime .

Well, FINALLY someone points out the obvious - a US Civil War will require two armies, just like 1861, and without two armies, all you can have is a bloodbath.
It IS interesting, however, that some guys with at least a theoretical knowledge of the officer corps are suggesting that the men with the guns are not ENTIRELY on the side of the actual insurrectionists who rule over us now, and that if Team Biden tries a replay, it might not go so well.
What has been happening in this country is absolutely Orwellian. The media works hand in hand with an installed government that has zero accountability. But the bottom line is that they were able to steal an election right out in the open. Now everyone ether likes the direction we are headed, or they are too afraid to do anything about it. We have failed America, this is all our own doing. Because we did nothing. And worse yet, we stood by as they persecuted those that did try to do something. I’m as guilty as anybody else, it’s time to face up to it.

The most pathetic part of this "insurrection" was that the Capitol Police found no weapons, except for a couple Swiss Army knives and some toenail clippers.
It sounds like they would like to see a purge of all Republicans/conservatives from the military because - you know - they are a threat to “democracy.” In order to save democracy, we must eliminate anyone who disagrees with us.
The SWHTF long before then.
Trump needs to fire everyone immediately after assuming office. He could randomly select people from the phone book (red states) and it would be better then what we have now.
They were unanimous in their opposition to a standing army.
I don’t know “the plan” or if there even is one. I do know that those living in deep blue areas should understand that lines are being drawn and that their location is untenable.
