Sad to report the death this morning of Fred Hiatt, the editor of the @washingtonpost’s editorial page and a wonderful colleague. Note to staff just sent by publisher Fred Ryan: pic.twitter.com/6Le9MIvhAx

No word on what caused the death. Hiatt was 66 and in good shape.
Hiatt was still working before the Thanksgiving holiday…
At this rate, Biden is likely to be presiding over a dangerously unstaffed administration even halfway into his term. If the GOP wins the Senate next year, he’s likely to go an entire term without anything close to a full government in place. @postopinions https://t.co/mt928VK7qK

Washington Compost do a hit piece on the Clinton scum? I’ll take “Recently Vaccinated” for $500, Alex.

Hiatt was 66 and in good shape. Is "in good shape" the new "safe and effective"?

A Christian hopes that he had his spiritual house in order.
Prayers for the family, friends.

Wikipedia is uncanny about recording deaths of notable people. Everytime I hear of a death, I go to Wikipedia and it's already there.
It's almost like their contributors are poised at the keyboards, waiting for somebody to die.
Back in the older days, newspapers used to have obituaries already written up on many famous people. That way, if the person died just before the deadline, they'd be able to pump a quick obit out there before the presses started running. In fact, when the health of these people took a turn for the worse, the editor would tell their people to "freshen" a particular obituary up. I think George Burns' obituary was in the can for about 40 years. Keith Richards' for 60 years (and still waiting).

Could be ... "is" for all I know. I was trying to compare or contrast physical health (he was in good shape) with spiritual health, and adding in sincere request to the Almighty to care for those most affected by the very ordinary yet still very jarring event of death.

Why would he release a hit piece on the Clinton’s? They’re on the same side.
