White House press secretary Jen Psaki falsely claimed Wednesday that former President Donald Trump told people to “inject bleach” when she was confronted with the fact that more Americans have died from coronavirus under President Joe Biden.
Fox News’ Peter Doocy quoted Biden’s statement during the second presidential debate in 2020 that “anyone who is responsible for that many deaths should not remain as President of the United States of America.” About 220,000 Americans had died at that point; more have now died under Biden than Trump. “Is that the standard?” Doocy asked

Queen of the heavily edited soundbite hit piece. Psaki will have a network job shortly after she tires of her current gig acting as the administration clean-up crew.
Ghost of Baghdad Bob strikes again......
They should ask “were you lying when you said Trump Said to inject bleach?”
Did any of those top flight reporters call her on that lie or did they even know?
Dems lie ... it’s what they do ...
I believe they know, but don’t care. I watched Trump make the comments, live, on one of the CSPAN channels. His fractured syntax makes it easy for the lying lefty lunatics to contort his comments, whether on Charlottesville or any other issue, including this one. The fact that none of them show the video and/or the transcript tells us all we need to know about them. Jen will fit right in when her time slopping at the public trough is over.
And, not a single ‘Journalist’ called her out on that outrageous lie.
It was “disinfectant” not “bleach” that he suggested. Here’s Trump’s exact quote from the press conference:
“And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute — one minute. And is there a way we can do something like that by injection inside or almost a cleaning ‘cause you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So you’re going to have to use medical doctors. But it sounds interesting to me.”
Even though he said disinfectant (and not bleach), this does sound a little crazy.
She probably believes Trump said it.
Liberals are stupid.
Even so, and even if Trump had said it, it’s weak.
It’s no answer.
Theoretically they are checking facts, which stand alone.
Any one can fact check.
(And these fact checkers lie about facts).
But they go on and “fact check” opinion. Eg an opinion of a biochemist on a biochemistry subject.
Jen turns 43 today. So, join me in wishing her happy birthday.
“Happy Birthday, Jen. You’re not getting older, you’re getting bitter.”
... and, no, that wasn’t a spelling mistake.
Impeach Jen’s boss.
it was Cuomo’s wife that recommended bathing in bleached water
Seems like Trump tried to summarize what was said, and may have mixed up "injecting" sunlight or UV rays into the testing of environmental effects on the half life of the virus and the tests of disinfectants like bleach and isopropyl alcohol on the virus suspended in saliva.
Anyone who claims Trump said to inject or drink bleach or Clorox is an idiot or being purposely disingenuous.
Here's what was said during the press briefing, skipping over lines that are not relevant to the topic:
ACTING UNDER SECRETARY BRYAN
...If you look at the first three lines, when you see the word “surface,” we’re talking about nonporous surfaces: door handles, stainless steel. And if you look at the — as the temperature increases, as the humidity increases, with no sun involved, you can see how drastically the half-life goes down on that virus. So the virus is dying at a much more rapid pace, just from exposure to higher temperatures and just from exposure to humidity. If you look at the fourth line, you inject summer — the sunlight into that. You inject UV rays into that. The same effects on line two — as 70 to 35 degrees with 80 percent humidity on the surface. And look at line four, but now you inject the sun. The half-life goes from six hours to two minutes. That’s how much of an impact UV rays has on the virus...
...So, in summary, within the conditions we’ve tested to date, the virus in droplets of saliva survives best in indoors and dry conditions. The virus does not survive as well in droplets of saliva. And that’s important because a lot of testing being done is not necessarily being done, number one, with the COVID-19 virus, and number two, in saliva or respiratory fluids. And thirdly, the virus dies the quickest in the presence of direct sunlight under these conditions. And when you — when you look at that chart, look at the aerosol as you breathe it; you put it in a room, 70 to 75 degrees, 20 percent humidity, low humidity, it lasts — the half-life is about an hour. But you get outside, and it cuts down to a minute and a half. A very significant difference when it gets hit with UV rays...
...We’re also testing disinfectants readily available. We’ve tested bleach, we’ve tested isopropyl alcohol on the virus, specifically in saliva or in respiratory fluids. And I can tell you that bleach will kill the virus in five minutes; isopropyl alcohol will kill the virus in 30 seconds, and that’s with no manipulation, no rubbing — just spraying it on and letting it go. You rub it and it goes away even faster. We’re also looking at other disinfectants, specifically looking at the COVID-19 virus in saliva...
PRESIDENT TRUMP
Thank you, Bill. Thank you very much. So I asked Bill a question that probably some of you are thinking of, if you’re totally into that world, which I find to be very interesting. So, supposing we hit the body with a tremendous — whether it’s ultraviolet or just very powerful light — and I think you said that that hasn’t been checked, but you’re going to test it. And then I said, supposing you brought the light inside the body, which you can do either through the skin or in some other way, and I think you said you’re going to test that too. It sounds interesting...
...And then I see the disinfectant, where it knocks it out in a minute. One minute. And is there a way we can do something like that, by injection inside or almost a cleaning. Because you see it gets in the lungs and it does a tremendous number on the lungs. So it would be interesting to check that. So, that, you’re going to have to use medical doctors with. But it sounds — it sounds interesting to me. So we’ll see. But the whole concept of the light, the way it kills it in one minute, that’s — that’s pretty powerful.
All I want to know is why hasn't the media called out the undersecretary for telling us to inject summer into us or inject the sun itself into us? If they're going to take what the president said literally, why didn't they take what the undersecretary said literally?
not really, when you consider targeted monoclonal antibodies, which we didn’t have at the time of his talk, the development of which Trump funded, and which he ultimately received, are very much a ‘dis-infect-ant’ of the pacman variety. So are most antibiotics in the literal sense.
“ Lets inject her with bleach,”
Can’t, it would kill all the poor souls trapped in her freckles when there is still hope of escape
Think about it....same concept as these experimental "vaccines".
It is clear that Trump was talking about applying light and disinfectants inside the body. Yes, he was riffing on what the DHS undersecretary said, basically saying if these things (light and disinfectants) can be useful externally, then how about using them internally. It is a bit nutty, but Trump is not a scientist and is well known for speaking (for good or ill) speaking off the top of his head.
Later Trump tried to cover his arse by saying he posed the question “sarcastically to reporters...just to see what would happen.” It is pretty ridiculous.
Maybe the threat of a SLANDER lawsuit might make her and the other ignorant DIMS sit up and take notice. Outright lies like this one need to be exposed.

There is a perfectly good word that used to describe these sorts of things — medicine. If one wanted to more specific one could say antibody treatments. Given the context of what was said before him, he certainly was not talking about the development on monoclonal antibody treatments when he said disinfectants. The contortions that some people go through here to defend him is far more silly than what he said.
