Both sides have rested their case and they proceed to try to convince the jury that their client is either guilty as charged (including lesser offenses) or Not Guilty by reason of self-defense.
So far, my favorite line from the trial came from the prosecution:
ADA Binger: "Mr. Rittenhouse, you play Call of Duty, right? Isn't the goal of that game to kill everyone in sight?"
KYLE: "Well, yea, but it is a game . . . it isn't reality."
Still angry here. He is making a lot of points for any predisposed juror to glomb onto, which, of course, is his intent. I really, really hope the defense nips this snow job in the bud.
I’m watching on Court TV. I’m wondering why the sound cuts out every time the prosecutor shows a video. Also the video is not shown on the TV. What’s up with that?! Is anyone watching on CNN etc having this problem?

Allow me to make clear that I am not against KR. I frankly think he’s a fine young man and he meant well.
But to get intelligent people to join me in my concerns, however wrong I may be, I questioned a young kid joining a raging group of rioters although I know he was trying to find a buddy.
I just wish he hadn’t and I will say it again so that all the stupid posters can gather up their insults.....I do not think he will get off free.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt that you may not have realized how important what you asked really was when considering this case. This will set precedent for future self defense cases. Too big, Why do it? Narratives like this are exactly what they want folks to think so that they can set unconstitutional precedent.
Maybe you do not realize it. But you shared liberal brainwashing narratives that no one has the right to protect their property, or call friends and family to help protect property when the authorities will not, or defend their own person with such a BIG gun. All of these are directly related to Constitutional rights.
And if allowed to prevail, will influence self defense cases from now on and redefine and limit in detail what rights the accused may or not have in the future.
His charging the defendant within 48 hours before he even had all the facts showed him to be a joke.

If you have a working BS detector, it works with or without specific knowledge of the subject matter. BSers act in a certain way that, if you see it, you can safely presume they’re BSing and react accordingly.

What ever happened to the purpose of trial was to insure fair justice was arrived at according to the application of the law.
