Congressional Progressive Caucus Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) said on Friday that it’s worth Democrats passing the party’s sweeping social spending and climate change package even if they lose the House in next year’s midterm elections.
Jayapal was asked early Friday ahead of an expected vote on the legislation if it's worth the party passing the legislation if it could help the GOP take back the House next year, just as Republicans did in 2010 following passage of the Affordable Care Act.

Wow! You nailed it! Predator.
Also, have you noticed the tide of weirdly named Democrats? I first noticed it with “Obama.” But since then it’s as if Democrats were selecting candidates whose names sounded the least like regular Americans. Is this something that’s happening on purpose?
Someone said, “Think of any three American presidents. Roosevelt, Adams, Jefferson...then say ‘Obama.’ See the problem?”
I bet her chair is not vunerable
So...you're right. Kamikaze Democrats. Although I think that might be deliberate on the part of radical leftists as a strategy to get rid of more moderate Dems, and replace them with other radical leftists. The Bolsheviks taking out the Mensheviks.
They are losing the House no matter what. So they have to pay their cronies before they lose power.
Yes and they know it.
Manchin and Sinema will cave. They are just trying to get the most out of it as they can.
Translation: we have to pass this “spending bill” because it contains the commie takeover of the U.S.A.
100%
Odds are they are going to lose the House regardless so might as well pass what they can when they can.
They tried. McAwful received the highest vote ever for a Dem Gov candidate, more than 200,000 more than Northam. As was the case in 2016, the Dems underestimated the Rep turnout.
Trump received 11 million more votes in 2020 than in 2016 and still lost, the first incumbent President to ever lose who received more votes than the first time. Biden received 15 million more votes than Hillary, a 23% increase. Prior to that, Hillary received the 2nd highest vote total in US history, only topped by Obama’s 69 million in 2008.
Biden received 81 million votes despite winning only 509 counties, while Trump won 2,547 counties. Biden won 16.7% of counties with finalized results. That represents a record-low proportion for a winning presidential candidate. Obama set the previous record in 2012 – with 689 counties, equal to 22%. Before that, he also set a record in 2008 with just 28% of counties. Biden stole the election.
Unless you hack the voting machines. Antrim County, MI is an example. Parnell’s loss to Conner Lamb in PA is an example of how Congressional races can be stolen.
I can’t wait to see Pelosi hand over the gavel that one last time.
They are counting on the Senate modifying the bill and then hashing out the differences in conference committee between the House and Senate versions. The Dems will insure that some form of the bill will survive and pass so they save face. All that is happening now is setting the price.
And McCain saved Obamacare, which is still with us.
They say House critters have six months to get anything done after being sworn in, before the next campaign maneuvers begin.
We now are into the next election cycle, and the dems stink to high heaven.
Safe district Democrats go BRRRRRRRRR...
Big talk from someone in one of the safest seats.
The ones who VOTED for her are even UGLIER!
What’s done can be undone if the will is there.
