They tried. McAwful received the highest vote ever for a Dem Gov candidate, more than 200,000 more than Northam. As was the case in 2016, the Dems underestimated the Rep turnout.

Trump received 11 million more votes in 2020 than in 2016 and still lost, the first incumbent President to ever lose who received more votes than the first time. Biden received 15 million more votes than Hillary, a 23% increase. Prior to that, Hillary received the 2nd highest vote total in US history, only topped by Obama’s 69 million in 2008.

Biden received 81 million votes despite winning only 509 counties, while Trump won 2,547 counties. Biden won 16.7% of counties with finalized results. That represents a record-low proportion for a winning presidential candidate. Obama set the previous record in 2012 – with 689 counties, equal to 22%. Before that, he also set a record in 2008 with just 28% of counties. Biden stole the election.

Right.

And Youngkin's campaign was PREPARED, according a FR poster.

Poll watchers everywhere, lawyers in the right places, people in from outstate to help monitor the "vote".

They were also watching the mail-in drop boxes.

It helped that only two states out East were having a gubernatorial election, so the manpower could be spared.

A national election would stretch the watchers thin.
