NYC has issued a state-wide call for firefighters from both Long Island and Upstate New York as one-third of city firefighters remain unvaccinated ahead of the November 1 deadline, leaving 26 firehouses shuttered.
About 72 percent of FDNY workers have been vaccinated ahead of the November 1 deadline, meaning that up to 4,000 workers may be terminated from the department.
The message was sent through email as nearly 350 potential volunteer firefighters were tagged.

And why would Upstate firemen jump in to help the enclave of America-hating cretin Democrats whose votes override their own votes every single election? I see this as a big opportunity to help the country by ignoring the mayor’s call. Let them stew in their own juice.

Deblasio and his administration are idiots. In the Orange County town I grew up in and volunteered in, a majority of our fire line officers were FDNY members and many FFs were NYPD officers. Good luck with that.
A lot of volunteer firemen are FDNY so…
FDNY has this opportunity to show their members that they are a union, a brotherhood, and have every member go out on strike until all their members are allowed to work. If they don’t, they will have showed their hand as government sheep.
Kind of like starting some fires and then calling others to put them out before they do too much damage.
Sounds like NYC has a bit of a policy conundrum problem on its hands.

• food
• garbage collection
• police
• firemen
• ambulance/EMT
• hospital staff
• snow removal
You can see this coming from a mile away.

The people in power would rather have people die in building fires than give in with their insane vax mandate. Remember that the vax was to “save lives”?
They have identified the non-conformists who refused the vax and will fire them and harass them in many other ways. The workers who remain will be easy to control, and won’t complain about the increasing level of government control over their lives.
These liberal cities are on the brink of total disaster. I wonder if the Leftist voters realize what they are voting for, probably not.
