Asians are no allies of the west, nor conservatives. At least bit the Indians and Chinese I have known in my life (and I live in a predominantly Chinese building in an otherwise East Indian neighborhood). Reminds me of the story that Mario Puzo used to tell about the time he met Frank Sinatra in a restaurant, and Old Blue Eyes threatened to beat him up over the Sinatra-modeled Johnny Fontaine character in The Godfather. Puzo liked to say that it didn’t hurt that much to be verbally abused by a famous entertainer, but it did wound his pride as a Southern Italian to be threatened with violence by a Northern Italian. He said it was like being Al Capone and having a knife waved at him by Albert Einstein.
