Tesla HQ is getting a new home.
"I'm excited to announce that we're moving our headquarters to Austin, Texas," CEO Elon Musk said Thursday during a Tesla shareholders meeting.
The electric car company is currently based in Palo Alto, California, near its original headquarters in San Carlos, and its first factory, in Fremont. Musk said Thursday that there is a "limit to how big you can scale in the Bay area."

Austin, Texas. As close as you can be to living in California without actually living in California.
To: Conservat1
Making Austin a bigger nightmare then it already is. Traffic is always at a stand still there. Real Estate market will go thru the roof with cash offers as 600k is chump change when you’re coming from CA.

Austin, Texas. As close as you can be to living in California without actually living in California. I've stayed in Austin quite a few times, visiting my daughter who lived there. It always reminded me of Berkeley California. Although more liberal than Berkeley.

Having lived in Texas I can ditto that. My only worry is tens of thousands of liberals moving with Tesla.

Note to ELON:
PLEASE FIND A PARTNER who has a SOLID online educational system.
Give all those kids a discount on Starlink.
YOU are the only one who could pull this off.
BREAK the evil teacher’s unions.
Get our kids back to real education.
THANK YOU
