Epik long has been the favorite Internet company of the far-right, providing domain services to QAnon theorists, Proud Boys and other instigators of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol — allowing them to broadcast hateful messages from behind a veil of anonymity.
But that veil abruptly vanished last week when a huge breach by the hacker group Anonymous dumped into public view more than 150 gigabytes of previously private data — including user names, passwords and other identifying information of Epik’s customers.
Extremism researchers and political opponents have treated the leak as a Rosetta Stone to the far-right, helping them to decode who has been doing what with whom over several years. Initial revelations have spilled out steadily across Twitter since news of the hack broke last week, often under the hashtag #epikfail, but those studying the material say they will need months and perhaps years to dig through all of it.

“A lot of research begins with naming names,” Best said. “There’s a lot of optimism and feeling of being overwhelmed, and people knowing they’re in for the long haul with some of this data.”

And here I was, thinking that Hillary's emails are also already on the NSA servers ... ready to be read, if anybody was forced to go look.
Of course, her emails are there because the NSA read every other spy agency's reports and summations ... But the American public cannot be permitted to know what she agreed to with which nations for how much money.
No cure for that one, deprogramming just would not work.
I bet she has to use a mirror to read...

That’s not the way the post read.
Of course. Just like there was a “hack” of the Christian fundraising site that exposed people who had donated to the defense of Kyle Rittenhouse, and then the MSM was there to put that information in the news, even though they were doing nothing illegal and but exercising their Constitutional rights to donate in a Constitutionally protected exercise, that of a trial in which the defendants also has Constitutional rights.
It’s like Watergate, but done against the American people.
just like what will happen here
The indocrinated of J schools are now employed.
Embarrassing details? I expected it to be traced to CNN or Perkins Coie. Or servers in Quantico.
Yes. So who are they?
Twitter refused to allow any discussion of the hunter Biden laptop because, they claimed, they do not allow publication of hacked material. This was apparantly the first and only time that policy was ever enforced and the laptop in question was not hacked.
Project Veritas gets deplatformed for far better motivated, for less personally intrusive investigative reporting.
Didn’t WaPoo say they won’t report on “hacked” information? Or is that only to protect Chomo Joe and his crackhead son?
Thanks for the responses.
“name, address, credit card info..etc”
How is someone’s credit card number embarrassing?
Read later.
Hacking isn't hard when the whole thing was a sting operation by the gubmint, which is run by the Deep State, which dreamed up "Anonymous" -- an organization that routinely engages in illegal activities. Thanks RACPE.
