A second dose of Johnson & Johnson’s COVID-19 vaccine given about two months after the first increased its effectiveness to 94 percent against symptomatic infection, the company said Tuesday.
The company said in a statement that the new data showed that a booster shot could also increase antibody levels and provide better protection against severe disease.
“Our single-shot vaccine generates strong immune responses and long-lasting immune memory. And, when a booster of the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine is given, the strength of protection against COVID-19 further increases,” Dr. Mathai Mammen, global head of Janssen Research & Development, said in a statement.

I had Covid last November. Got the J&J shot in May. I tested positive for the delta variant on Sunday.
My daughter also was sick at the same time last year with it. She is now exhibiting the exact same symptoms I have, so likely she also has it. No natural immunity prevented us from getting it. The vaccine didn’t prevent it. We are not as sick this time around but in my case, literature suggests I should be able to lick toilets and be safe from it. But I’m sure the Branch Covidians are out there ready to tell me it’s because I don’t wear masks, isolate form society, or wash my hands until the skin falls off.
It’s all smoke and mirrors.
The company says their vaccine works good. It’s gotta be true then. Companies never lie about their products.
Then why are so many dying?
This virus has an overall 99.97% survival rate, and vaccines are supposed to help the .3% @ about say 80%, so let’s say that the .3% equals 100,000 (just for simplicity sake).
if 80% of those 100,000 will now supposedly live, then that means only 20,000 will die now with the vax, but instead we are seeing an increase in deaths of folks who are vaxxed in hospitals.
(Of course the vax pimps will declare that many more would have died a.ready if they hadn’t been vaxxed. But you can’t prove a negative, so they get away with that bold claim)
I'm waiting for Biden to cut off Medicare for the unclean, er, unvaxxed, or to cut off banking and credit, or business licenses, etc.
Or perhaps we'll be required to show our papers to buy groceries.

I had the J&J. Months later Doc ran an antibody test on me. Came back as really low. My best friend same thing. Different months vaccinated, different locations, different docs. So I don’t consider myself a one off.

Moderna is proving to be the strongest and most durable vaccine for covid-19.
Not sure a booster is even needed.
