For those familiar with Houston, it happened at the Shell at Airport and Monroe near Hobby. I've been there a few times, and wouldn't visit it unarmed (if I ever went out in public unarmed).

FWIW, Here is my 2cents. I’m old school, which translates to “the land of snubbies”. I gravitate towards things like wadcutters/semiwadcutters. I read an old story by a NYC cop in the late ‘60’s. He mentioned that round nose bullets can, if face shot, burrow around the skull and exit out the back of it, with a miinor wound. He advocated wadcutters in snubbies, because the short barrel does not provide enough exit velocity for hollow points “to fail as designed”.
