Congressman Matt Gaetz (R-Fla.) has been exonerated and the Department of Justice’s sex trafficking investigation has been shut down as the man who made the false allegations is now behind bars. Florida developer and convicted fraud, Stephen Alford, faced a judge on Tuesday after he was indicted for extortion.
According to a newly unsealed indictment, the 62-year-old spread lies about Gaetz as part of a complex scheme to defraud Gaetz’s father of $25 million.
“Alford is alleged to have been involved in a scheme to obtain money based upon false promises or guarantees he made to the victim that Alford could deliver a presidential pardon for a family member of the victim,” said the Justice Department in a statement.

Personally, if I was under investigation by the DOJ for trafficking underage women, I would not call that exonerated. This is just confirmation that he was blackmailed for his alleged crimes.
Yes, they are not done with Gaetz, I expect. Anything he does now, or if/when he runs for office in the future, will be reported with the opening line that “... he was once investigated for several charges, including sex trafficking.....” with nothing said to indicate that he was exonerated.
That is all they need in this day and age. Then, per the MSM, they can all start their stories with “.... according to reports.....”.
If the public ever wakes up to this manipulation, we might have a chance.

Except Gaetz hasn't prevailed...and he is still the subject of a DOJ investigation due to his ill advised association with disgraced Seminole County Tax Collector Joel Greenberg, who has already pled guilty to six Federal charges including one count of soliciting sex from a minor.
The fact someone tried to extort his father by dangling the promise of a Trump pardon in exchange for cash is a separate matter.

I can recall seeing Gaetz, Jordan, and Gohmert on the news in the past and thought they sounded like FReepers. But alas, I haven’t watched the news for a single second since 11-6-20.

I hope he puts them on blast. People were putting out such malicious gossip! Weeks of allegations about underage girls, drugs, weekend trips outside the country, misdirected campaign funds - I hope he fights back and calls out the critics by name.

The Greenberg case involves the missing FBI former FBI agent Levinson, who died in Iranian hands. The disgraced FBI official Andrew McCabe is tied to that...apparently McCabe, who now works for CNN, blocked the investigator Robyn Gritz who was trying to find and get Levinson back. McCabe allegedly harassed Fritz, and a certain General Flynn came to her defense against McCabe. McCabe then later set up Flynn ...recall McCabe saying “First we f### Flynn, then we f### Trump.” Pretty sure this Gaetz case is not as it seems, there is too much going on behind the scenes.
It takes less than a minute of research to show that statement is 100% false.
Please...just take a minute and look up Joel Greenberg.
You seem to have an agenda against Gaetz as it doesn’t seem like he’s done anything wrong
