Just when you thought corporate wokeness couldn’t get any worse, it does. General Michael Flynn announced in his Telegram channel today that he received a letter from Chase Bank informing him they know longer want his business.
Here’s what Chase sent him:
Gen. Flynn posted this in his Telegram channel after receiving the word Chase no longer wanted his business. The letter stated:
Update: We are closing your credit cards
After careful consideration, we decided to close your credit cards on September 18, 2021 because continuing the relationship creates possible reputational risk to our company.
Flynn responded via Telegram, “Chase Bank has gone full blown woke! They need to deal with their own reputation instead of persecuting my family and I. DOJ dropped my case for their own egregious government misconduct, appears you weren’t that lucky with the DOJ. I guess my America First political views don’t align with yours. Your loss ”
Welcome to Biden’s America, where a highly decorated and retired 3-star general is deemed by the corporate elite to be a “reputational risk” by wokesters who are more concerned with promoting Marxist BLM ideology, CRT, and anything else that will help the Democrat party stay in power.
Wording and phrasing on the letter is suspect. Don’t think JPM Chase corporate would say anything like “We are closing your credit cards”. That’s clumsy Middle Eastern sentence speak. You don’t “close” a credit card. You “close” an account. I call BS as this letter looks like a set-up or a scam. Written by someone who has ESL. Not from Chase corporate.

I would cancel my Chase Bank account if I had one. Actually, I closed mine out 4 years ago.

Color me skeptical too, although nothing surprises me these days.
It’s unlikely that the bank on their own decided to do this for no reason. Usually there are activists involved, both inside and outside the bank who have been pressuring the bank for a long time . “After careful consideration” means the bank finally decided to give in.
Chase is not in my wallet, and never will be.
Chase Bank is the last organization to criticize another person’s reputation.

People in charge want to do away with ALL currency. Once they have done that, they can prevent you from buying anything with a few clicks on a keyboard.
If all money is digital, you can easily be destroyed and starved by those in charge.

I don’t believe this is actually written and sent by Chase. They would likely use better grammar, have additional information and have additional contact information.
This is written like a Junk email from Kenya, promising millions.

It’s a great way to eliminate half, or more, or one’s customer base.

Well, since a federally chartered commercial bank is required by law to serve the entire public in its service area, Flynn should sue the benk and also file for revocation of its charter. The fact that normal people don’t hqve any organizational help to use the courts in defending their civil rights is a serious serious problem for the country. As we see with national banks, internet social websites, etc.
